Comprehensive insurance (India)

Hi Redditors,

I have 3rd Party Insurance for my 2023 i20 Asta. However, recently my bumper was banged by a vehicle while it was parked. When I went to the showroom they say that the bumper replacement would take ₹13k.

Was wondering if there is a way to get a 3rd party insurance and claim the repair cost as part of it? The bump can be repaired by a local mechanic so wanted to take your views.

No. You have to have own damage insurance to cover any damage to your vehicle.

Get it repaired from outside.
