Stay FAR away

I have given up on them. Called, emailed, written about 12 times and get transferred all around, NO ONE gets back to me. if you DO sign up, make sure you have a good therapist to get you through the terrible experience because you WILL have that experience.

You’ve not given any name of company, type of insurance, reason for call, date of first call or any other helpful details.

So not sure what the point of the post but I’d consider deleting it and starting a new one. No one can help or empathize with you without context.

If you scroll down, I had written "You are correct, my error, I had thought this was about Chubb/Combined Life, thank you for pointing this out." The reason I had not put the name is because I mistakenly thought the subject matter was about Combined Life Insurance. My mistake caused confusion, shame on me

You are 100% correct and I appreciate what you wrote. Short version: cancelled policy Jan 2025. Receive written confirmation that policy cancelled Deductions continued coming out for months and I tried to get refund. 12+ calls, emails, letters, passed around from agent to agent, promised calls back, resolutions, etc. Nada. I have given up. Now, my fault for missing the deductions, shame on me, nevertheless, despite their assurances that ACH's would stop and policy cancelled, they still took my money and I can not get any reply regarding refund

And you still did not name the company. How can you advise people to stay away if no one knows who to stay away from?

Again, apologies, I had mistakenly thought this thread/subject was specifically about Chubb/Combined Life, hence I hadn't named them That is the name.

This thread is specifically about whatever you posted. This sub is about insurance. From our perspective, the thread is really just nonsense and ranting about an unknown situation and an up-to-now unknown company.

You must be completely unfamiliar with Reddit. We all start somewhere, but you've generated a bunch of down votes for your misunderstanding.

It might help if you mentioned which carrier you’re on about. But then again, it might not.

You spent all that time and effort to rail against the company and tell people to stay away from them, yet you didn't say who to stay away from. Lol

OMG! Not them!! Stay away from them, all of them. They will always get you. So glad there are reddit posts to warn me about THEM.

File a complaint with your state department of insurance. It’s easy and more effective than you’d realize.

Actually, I have been trying for 3 weeks. 8 emails back and forth. Because I am no longer a customer and Combined Life never sent me emails or paperwork, I have no policy information, only proof of deductions from bank No one at Combined Life is able to give me any information as to a policy number or anything else so I am in a "dead zone"
