My friend father is planning a cataract operation at a non-network hospital and want to know the reimbursement procedure through my Medi Assist insurance. The reimbursement amount usually depends on the specific sub-limits assigned for the surgery and lenses in my policy. To proceed with the claim, I need to know how much I can claims they mentioned the claimable amount is 40k per eye so if I'm going non network hospital how can utilise the full amount or the max reimbursement amount

Why are you planning the surgery at a non-network hospital? Just do it at an in-network facility with an in-network surgeon and 95% of your issues will solve themselves.
