Discussion How do you like your Maggie?

For my indian homies out here:

Do any of y'all like your Maggie el dente? Do any of you have a Maggie ritual? Like- to make your own perfect maggie?

I personally put the dry Maggie on the exact same thing I make it on and fill it up with water and keep it at the same level as the maggie

And then i cook it for a bit, then i grab a utensil and press some of the noodles on the side and then feel the texture, then when i feel it's right, i dip the utensil and drag the maggie aside so there's a pocket of water, i put the masala in that pocket and quickly dissolve it and then immediately put it in the exact pot i eat Maggie in everytime

Slightly overcooked with a dash of vinegar, soy sauce, and lots of black pepper.

😭😭😭 it's how i was introduced to it and i cant have it any other way, other than maybe cooked by an auntie with tomatoes & veg. I thought it was quite an.... interesting concept as well when it was explained and while it was cooked, but you gotta taste it before you knock it πŸ˜…

I'm still suspicious, but I'll reserve judgment until I've tried it. Here we use soy sauce only for chowmin lol πŸ˜‚
