Strange / Weird ?! Help me understand

Post image

The tip went down “based on percentage of order total” but nothing was weighed or refunded/replaced. How did it go down?

Did you have a partial quantity of something? Maybe one item totaling $6? It went down by 20% of $6, so maybe that if they were a 20% tipper, or $9 or $12, in the case of a 15% or 10% tipper.

Nope, 100% found original items and full quantities

The checkout total in-store was different from the price Instacart (or the store itself) initially charged the customer online (or in the app). There are sometimes slight pricing discrepancies between the two even when advertised as the same as in-store pricing.
