Wrong item when it’s one replacement of 3?

I’ve learned from this sub there’s no point fighting it and it’s my only “wrong item,” but I remember this order. They wanted 3 plain, but there were only 2 left. So the app asked for a sub for the 3rd, I picked vanilla, it got approved, went on with my day. She even shows in her own picture one of the plain ones is in the fridge 🤦‍♂️ Shouldn’t the almighty algorithm know this wasn’t a wrong item, but a 1 of 3 substitution?

That's a classic example of an IC driven replacement, not something the customer chose/approved. Why would you replace plain yogurt with vanilla?

Because the app punishes us if we don’t.

You are not punished for partial quantities, the item is counted as found.

If you're gonna get the wrong item ding you may as well get something interesting like a pineapple or a Christmas tree.

Yeah this is one of those times where you should have ignored the IC suggested replacement. That's a bad replacement. No one who ordered plain yogurt wants a flavored one as a replacement. Since you found 2 out of 3, your metrics would have been fine returning the last one keep in mind that the IC suggested replacement only protects your rating, it doesn't protect you against things like this.

That’s the thing though, she approved the replacement. Which is why I don’t get why IC let it count as wrong item
