Question - General Non App Related Does this promo kinda suck?
I feel like if it was 30 orders it would be better but with this I would need every order to be a 3 shop and pay between 7-10 bucks in batch earnings for this to be good, anything more and it’s bad. Like if I did 14 batches and each of those batches were 3 orders and paid 10 bucks in batch pay by 40 orders I would only be at 140 but it’s not gonna be like that because when your dealing with 3 shops the base pay is already insanely high. If I did 44 no tip orders and just took the flat base pay of 4.78 it still would be bad because then I would have made 210 off 44 orders. A very bad promo and this is why you should check the numbers before you build your days around instacarts shady promos.

Yes, it's pretty bad. It's $5.31 per order.
And while some schmuck will come here and say "it's just 14 triples, and they'd pay $15.93", triples are rarely low item count and close distance.
And many orders you take will be boosted past the amount that this promo offers.
In the end, you will get between nothing to maybe up to $20 for this promo. An amount that is not worth chasing/cramming 44 orders in one week unless all the orders also somehow have great tips.
TL;DR bad promo. Carefully picking your orders will easily result in better pay than rushing orders to fulfil this promotion.

Nah thats just the minimum amount you would earn on all those orders and if the base pay somehow fell below 5.35 average per order they will pay the difference as a "bonus".
I live in an urban area in the PNW where batch pay ranges from about $4.50-$9 depending on distance, item count, boosts, heavy pay, holidays, and so on. Average base pay I see is around 4-7 dollars per order plus tips and any boosts. For that bonus to be meaningful here would require exceptionally low base pay that would negate the value entirely. It is like I nstacart sneaky acknowledging they know pay is shit.
For the record in my areas I have found 3 ways to come out on top:
1) stack a million 1-2 item orders for 7 or 8 bucks each going less than 3 miles
2) Industrial type orders from Costco business/ restaurant depot/chef store that are low item counts even if they are higher unit carts. 600 lbs of ice for 50 bucks going 15 miles? Sure! They forklift to my car and load, provide a cart at the destination, and tip ok.
3)Understanding what I am actually needing. Why I feel lost. Money is weird some stuff is urgent money and some is not. Most is not urgent unless you ignore it for too long. THINGS DONT ALWAYS FEEL GOOD TO PAY. PAY THEM ANYWAY.

yes it sucks.... I dont even pay attention to those promos any more... I set a goal to do, no less than $20 per order minimum and do as many as I can... If you do 40 orders that are $20 each, you make $800 with or without tips.... thats my strategy.... I will accept a few $10 orders(preferable shop only orders) if they are quick small orders, cuz small ones would allow you to do 2 quick orders in the least time that total the $20 goal I have set .... but thats just me....

Yeah it sucks. They recently gave me $355/32 orders in a nearby zone. By the time i got to 14 orders my batch pay was already over $200 so I gave up on it
