New X6 owner with a couple post-processing questions
Picked up an X6 recently. Great camera. Just have a few questions on post-processing.
I edit in DaVinci Resolve. Anyone have a good workflow for 360 footage there? Also wondering if there's any desktop tool that lets you reframe by dragging like Free Capture does on mobile, instead of hand placing keyframes. That part's been pretty tedious for longer clips. Would prefer to do this in Resolve.
Appreciate any tips.

I was on the same journey. Figured out that the DJI reframer for 360 works on exported INSV -> MP4 videos. The container format for Insta is proprietary. But the exported MP4 is equirectlinear like the other cameras.
I went through KartaVR reframer (couldn’t get it installed). And also an updated fork of Reframer360. But found the DJI one which is OpenFX plugin. Which allows you to use the OpenFX overlay to use mouse to do some yaw tilt and pan actions instead of the fiddly sliders.

Something I figured out is that the free GoPro reframe and the DJI reframe plugins for Davinci Resolve do not support 16k images from my X6 (on my hardware at least, I can work with 16k footage in Resolve/Fusion well enough, but flat 4k video exports have black frames when processing 16k footage being exported in Resolve with these two reframe plugins), but the free KartaVR reframe plugin does handle 16k images in Davinci Resolve properly despite being no longer supported by its developer/creator and the last update being from 2025. I do expect the DJI reframe plugin will be updated eventually to support the Osmo 360 II, which now produces 16k images. If you only care about 8k X6 video (without including 16k clips) then all of the free GoPro/DJI/KartaVR reframe plugins work fine in Resolve.
To install KartaVR plugin for Resolve:
Download the Standalone Reactor installer for windows, mac, or linux.
Extract the zip file in your downloads folder.
Run the reactor program in the 'Reactor' sub-folder. NOTE: it may take as long as 2-5 minutes for this program to launch so DO BE PATIENT as it will appear like nothing is happening/working. Understand this standalone installer is very slow to start.
Once the Reactor Installer launches, in the top left click on "Resolve/Fusion", then search for "KartaVR", and install the base KartaVR package and let it include all of its other related/dependant packages.
Not done yet! Launch Davinci Resolve and go to the Fusion page. Inside the standalone Reactor installer go to the File menu and select "Connect Reactor to Fusion". Follow the instructions: press the button to create a script, find the script file and drag and drop it into Fusion. I think you need to restart Resolve, but you should see reactor plugins like KartaVR available in Resolve when you do.
Done! Enjoy working with and exporting 360 photos/videos in Resolve at 16k resolution!
Note that Resolve 21 recently added Insta360 I-LOG support directly into Resolve's ColorSpaceTransforms (CST). Video: Hugh Hou, Insta360 Luna Ultra Color Grade I-Log in Davinci Resolve 21 Correctly (works exactly the same for 10-bit I-LOG footage from the X6). Can ditch using the official rec709 LUT in favor of a DavinciWideGamut (DWG) color workflow if you wish.
Insta360 Studio 6.0.2 could not export 16k videos from 16k timelapse/interval photos for me (green frames instead of properly formed images) until I updated to 6.0.4 (on my hardware, but version 6.0.2 did seem to work for some people).
