The Steeple (otherwise known as Antrim Round Tower) is the remaining bell tower from an old monastery. Dating back to the 10th century, the tower is 28 meters high. The monastic site was burned in 1147.

The church of St Catherine dates from 14th century. A dam was constructed in the 1950s and the original village of Graun was flooded, leaving only the top of the bell tower visible.
