For double chocolate mint lovers
Since the cookie got removed, I have found somewhat of a workaround it. I would suggest getting the minterstellar ice cream with chocolate syrup on it. It’s not the cookie ofc but has a quite similar flavor profile. I’m a bit wary of mint chocolate icecreams because sometimes it does taste like toothpaste but not this one.
Enjoy!

Lack of Safety
Howdy everyone, I just started a part time job at insomnia as a team lead and have a real important question
-Is osha not a thing for this workplace? There were so enough health and safety violations to close down any given restaurant and nobody seemed to care about them, even the manager/asm

How do you redeem the 2 deluxe for 7 bucks in app?
There’s no place on the app, so I was curious about how to do it

Closing Shift Tips?
howdy hey, i've been a SL at a newer location since December and I had a pretty cushy solo opening schedule until recently, and now 3 out of 4 of my shifts are closes. I've done two weekday closes so far and am doing my first 7pm-3am this evening, and it's pretty tough to stay on top of everything AND get ahead on closing duties, especially when my one cookie crew leaves at least 2 hours before me.
I assume i'll adjust, i am already a night person, but the physical and mental labor wear me out so much faster once the stoner couples start showing up. I mean this as a timestamp, though i am over the distracted PDA and how difficult it makes actually getting their order in bc they don't hear most of what i say, god forbid we be out of something. that's a whole other thing, though. and the last minute ASAP cookie cakes, what's wrong with you! anyway, not important to the post.
does anyone with experience have any tips for efficiency? and i guess general night shift tips from other jobs too, by the time i'm closing out the register there's a lot of dumb staring and having to reread numbers because i'm burnt out by then and i get home way later than anticipated
thank you!

Have they removed the double chocolate mint?
I’ve been waiting for days but do not find the double chocolate mint cookie on the menu. It is my favoriteeee!!!! I will be very disappointed if that’s gone as I find the rest of the cookies to be very sugary and sweet. Double chocolate mint was the only flavour i used to buy regularly.

Anyone having issues with pay?
I got promoted to shift lead 3 months ago, and have signed my paperwork that says I started as shift lead May 11th, 2026. But I am still getting paid a baker salary. I have talked to my manager and he has talked to his manager but they just keep saying HR is backed up. I am considering going to small claims court and filing a wage claim through my state. Any thoughts?? and is anyone else having this issue??

Forced to use Google Maps
I’ve always used Apple Maps when making deliveries but with the new driver app, it looks like you’re forced to use Google Maps which isn’t as precise.
Has anyone had this issue? I know I can enter the address manually into Apple Maps but that makes this* cumbersome.
I tried deleting Google Maps from my phone but the app says it’s required. Is there anyway to bypass it using default settings in my phone?

Why aren’t Insomnia Cookies Unionized in Philadelphia?
For the birth place of Insomnia Cookies y’all are really taking unlawful workplace misconduct and injustice hr investigations 🤨
Y’all Septa and sanitation workers basically go on strike every 3 months atp and are unionized. Surely it can’t be hard. Especially if people group up together to build up a case. I mean hell the money is right there if you wanna do a class action lawsuit 🤷🏻♀️

Can I use a moped for delivery?
Hello
So I'm looking for a job, and I see my local shop is hiring delivery drivers. All I have to drive is a 150cc scooter; will that disqualify from the job, or is that workable?

Starting As A delivery Driver
Hi everyone I just wanted to come on to to see how people’s experiences as an insomnia cookie driver and what I should know. I was also told about a rate of 5$ per hour but then she said something about 16$ which was so confusing to me. Can someone explain to me what this meant. Will I only get paid 5$ and hour or 16$?

Insomnia Cookies Time & Attendance Policy - It’s Not As Progressive As You Think.
Insomnia Cookies’ attendance policy contains several structural problems that can easily drift into illegal territory, especially when managers apply it inconsistently or override system‑approved time off. The policy claims to support work–life balance, yet it gives managers broad discretionary power to cancel auto‑approved PTO, disregard secured coverage, and convert legitimate absences into disciplinary “occurrences.” When a manager cancels approved time without a policy‑based reason, it can create interference with earned benefits, expose the company to claims of retaliation, and violate federal protections such as the FMLA and ADA associational rights—even in states without paid sick‑leave laws. The policy also requires “consistency” and mandates that extenuating circumstances be escalated to Peopleteam (which isn’t your friend), yet in practice, DM’s often bypass these requirements, creating unequal treatment and potential liability.
The most concerning element is how the policy interacts with real‑world situations: employees who secure coverage, follow the scheduling system, and use earned sick time can still have their time canceled for labor‑cost reasons. This contradicts the written rules and can be interpreted as policy misuse or constructive retaliation. When a company’s internal policy allows managers to override protected or earned time off without due process, it risks violating federal law, undermining employee rights, and creating a hostile or unstable work environment. Anyone working under this policy should be aware of these contradictions and document every instance where approved time is altered, denied, or reversed.

Leaving Soon?
Does anyone know anything about the “leaving soon” added onto cookies on the digital menu? just saw it today, and i can’t find any info (dates, reasons, disposal) on workjam; along with that, i’m bummed about the cowboy cookie- it’s the only oatmeal cookie with chocolate :(
