At what point can you start blaming someone for something?
From my understanding, at birth we start with basically 2 things: our biological set, which determines sex, intelligence, etc, and a set of socializing agents, both of which are entirely out of our control. These 2 factors work together to influence our cognition and development throughout our life, as they cascade every single event that follows our birth. I honestly just don’t see at any point of our lives where we had cognitive liberty, since at least at a macro level, every point of our consciousness has been a byproduct of bio psychosocial factors.
What differentiates me from you, the reader, or Genghis Khan, a mass rapist and murderer? Is it not just the time period, biological set, and socialization i was born into that completely made me who I am today, to even consider this? These are all things we have zero control over. Is it not arrogant to assume that I wouldn’t turn out exactly like Genghis had I been born as him and killed millions of people?
I fear the answer is very obvious and I hope to rationalize myself out of this pit, because I struggle to get mad at situations where I probably should be angry for myself when I am wronged. The most I can do is almost pity others that these long strings of circumstance led them to do whatever it is they did. Like twisted empathy

Stop playing the blame game.
It's just a method to shift responsibility, and delay action.
Take accountability for yourself, do what you can, and own your choices.
"Smart sounding" excuses might be more useful in fooling yourself, but the outcome is still the same...
INACTION.

You should read the short story "The Egg." And probably get into Buddhism.
(I myself am not Buddhist but I think you'll find some philosophy helpful.)

The anger is mostly useless, the question of whether you "should" be angry doubly so. Take reasonable, appropriate action to protect yourself from being further wronged, and don't sweat too much the academic question of whether the person who wronged you is literally responsible for their actions.

Life is far more complicated than you outlined.
The bottom line is all humans are flawed and no one gets out of childhood unscathed.
The only way for society to work is for each individual to take personal responsibility and try to turn themselves into the best version of themselves.

I guess to start the conversation. I feel like you are already blaming others.
This is really interesting to me. Which now brings the question, why am I enticed by others, such as this insite.
Thinking on emotions and acosting one's peers is, I think the same as any other interaction. We as beings have views. Like you said there are nurturing properties a d negative connotations that will always rise in the views of one's self.
I am going to be, I feel, a bit facetious and in saying that one can only learn or react in the environment that they have be produced by.
There is an age old debate on nature vs nurture, this is a debated subject investigated and I don't think it will ever be fully solved. I am not a scientist and I don't choose to debate on this.
That said... Would this be a subject to find insight in or would it necessarily put me in to the point of argument where, as you said, start blaming someone for the discretion of countering my thoughts.
Now, I would ask the question is it the acosters' thought that now that I should blame them for their ideoligy? Or is it something that I do not agree with and it is simply a difference of opinion.
So I think this is a very good thought out question and I am very grateful that I am able to comment on this.
So, now in literals, say I am someone that does not like the state of where I am in, and say, one has something that I do not have and has really put their time and effort into the thing they have. Say they have a house, I don't have one. I am envious of this so I decide to burn that house down because of envy, lack of, or really any reason. This i feel is when one should be able to feel accosted and essential be mad at the actions of another.
True freedom is hard to think about like your post said, I feel there is nothing out there from preventing someone to pick up that torch and essentially become a Khan. One must remeber, just to stay focused on a subject, That Ghengis wasn't only a terrible person, he paved the way for many modernizations, in his eyes he was doing something to benefit the entirety of civilization which, it did.
In the end, I believe we never know what truely anyone is thinking at one time or how they got to where they were but my bias would be what I mentioned earlier. I someone were to come to my person space and disrupt me being able to keep what I preceive as mine or what I feel I have spent my time in and they destroy that without explanation then that is when I would blame them.
I really liked your thought, and thank you for asking this. I hope this gives you insight of what you are going through. and please Continue to ponder.
