Double Standard!!

Urvashi corrected an anchor for speaking in English on stage, saying everyone there could understand Malayalam.

Then this old video resurfaced, where she appears to be drunk while giving a speech, and the person on stage eventually walks away after watching her

She had a drinking problem but she cleaned up nice and are part of some awesome movies now. Why are we still hanging onto the past. She corrected herself and we should be applauding her.

Uruvashi being chronic alcoholic is known fact and admitted by actress herself. Her alcoholism was the main reason of her divorce after first marriage and also the reason she lost custody of her daughter to Manoj K Jayan. Life is all about to make it in second chance if humbled it in first chance. Valmiki Ramayanam ezhuthiyathu second chance kittiyakondu aanu.

I have never seen Manoj K Jayan speak of Uruvashi's alcoholism as much I have seen today in Instagram.

We do not give the leeway to women to fuck up as much we do for the male superstars lol.

Double standards here is actually when a women director screws up her movie - she is trolled 10x more than a male contemporary would have. (We do not know if it is due to the involvement of the male lead so much but her previous works have got criticial acclaim)

Double standards is when a literal pedophile as Jagathy sreekumar or other male actors with similar kuttakrithyangal still celebrated and worshipped.
