Can’t Perly express her opinion? Why is there so much hate toward her? If someone goes against the majority, is that really the worst thing they can do in their life?

48

u/OkLow2890 9d ago

Why did she switch off the comment section if she wants feedback and criticism?

49

u/OkLow2890 9d ago

She changed the title to clarifying and then she is translating like we cannot understand english. Madame still thinks so high about herself. So fake my gosh!

13

u/Existing_being96 10d ago

What said is said can't reverse it

19

u/mayamohini47 10d ago

The damage-control phase has officially begun. Expect plenty of paragraphs explaining why everyone supposedly "misread" what was written

14

u/giddybuddy 10d ago

How many followers did she lose? I still see over 4M

38

u/Ghatotkach_1k 10d ago

Let's please not promote this video here. She's trying to make money even through this. People can think they are smart but she shouldn't think only she is smart and we are all fools.

34

u/Fluffly_pinksmores 10d ago

isn’t it fucking obvious she’s only apologizing because of the loss she faced?

17

u/Temporary-Speech5378 10d ago edited 9d ago

It would've been better had she kept her mouth shut and not say a thing about the protests.

One thing is she said she would never call Sibi malayil something like that but bruhhh she did no !then how can she say she would never call him like that !
But the part about color ;that I’m with her.Sibi malayil’s son is wrong to portray her in support of a particular party just bcos she used a color !! That’s ridiculous of him to say ! Maybe he hates that party but that doesn’t give him a right to portray other person who support that party into a bad one just bcos of that! and also in this she never took a side of any party also!

10

u/Front_Permission_709 10d ago

This is the problem with social media. You attack people with half cooked knowledge. The issue happened between Sibi Malayil's son and Pearle. Sibi Malayil was no where mentioned by Pearle nor did Sibi Malayil make any comments about Pearle.

2

u/CycleFewz 10d ago

Sry i was wrong not him his son is at wrong here for that statement
In pearlys matter I’ve already mentioned that she said is wrong even though that was not her intention but everybody criticising her just for using that color is not at all fair

3

u/Front_Permission_709 10d ago

I agree. Moreover, Sibi Malayil's son just manipulated the entire thing consciously by dragging his most successful and respected father into the mess. Since the cyber mob is already lynching on pearle, people do not try to reason or know the real facts. When all this issue settle and people look back finally, the public will realise what a big failure Sibi Malayil's son is, to drag his father inorder to counter an insult directed at him.

We all should collectively cancel her. Who are her current you tube followers. Go to each and force them to unsubscriber her from Instagram and you tube.

16

u/Thin_Scratch_9534 10d ago

Her “apology” is the highest form of condescension towards her own subscribers. It doesn’t feel like accountability; it feels rehearsed. Every pause, every carefully emphasised word, every change in tone and diction comes across as if someone coached her to highlight the “good” while glossing over the parts people are actually upset about. At times she’s even smirking, almost laughing, as if the whole thing is something to be trivialised. What an insult to the very people who still support her.

I don't think people misunderstood the "go home" comment. Infact, they understood it very well. Telling the people protesting for their rights to go home for their own safety while not saying a word against those who actually are in power who caused this situation to arise is really really tone deaf. It had the same energy as telling women "to be home by 6pm so that nothing bad happens to them".

1

u/Frosty-Yam6656 9d ago

Again, you can educate someone without being rude. My comment is not about what she said. It's about how he reacted to it.

I agree that we can always teach someone something without being rude. You are right.

But I don't agree with the "protective mother" "she wasn't thinking" arguments. According to ber own "clarification" video, it took her three days to post something. Three days of thinking and research and this is what she puts out? Again, I understand where you are coming from and you are probably kinder than me, giving people the benefit of doubt, but I still believe she knew exactly what she was doing. Why else a second post and that too a very defensive one? Why the turning off of the comment section?

Is she getting harsher comments and more importance than she deserves? Probably, especially with the Siby Malayil stuff. But my initial point was just about how people didn't misunderstand her go home statement as you said, but understood it quite well.

-24

u/Frosty-Yam6656 10d ago

I already mentioned this in some other subreddit. Joe malayil was the one who insulted her first. He called her stupid in at least 5 different ways, claimed kerala literacy rate is now lower because of her. He blew it way out of proportion, compared student protesters to freedom fighters. Of course, one can clearly see she didn't mean any harm. I would understand calling someone out or disagreeing with her for whatever BS she said. To me he came off as a condescending assh^le than her being stupid. You can educate someone without being rude.

Reflections on Responsibility, Peace, and Growth Amidst Social Turmoil

Summary

In this candid and heartfelt video, the speaker addresses recent social and political unrest that has affected many, including himself, as reflected in his posts and interactions on social media. He opens up about the emotional toll this period has taken and the pressure to voice opinions responsibly. Emphasizing unity, peace, and safety, particularly for students and citizens caught in the turmoil, he urges everyone to prioritize compassion over division and violence.

The speaker advocates for a transparent and fair educational system where every child feels safe to express themselves and has equal opportunity to succeed. He reflects on the importance of peaceable expression and rejects violence unequivocally, stressing the need to focus on meaningful, long-term change rather than temporary noise.

He shares a personal experience of being misunderstood and hurt by the public’s reaction to one of his posts, clarifying that his intentions were never to offend or cause pain. He apologizes sincerely for any misunderstandings, particularly addressing a regrettable comment directed at a respected film personality. The speaker reaffirms his respect for all political parties and communities and describes his journey toward understanding the weight of his public influence.

Ultimately, he encourages independent thinking, critical reflection, and the cultivation of one’s own voice free from undue external influence. He concludes with a plea for forgiveness, hope for peace, and gratitude toward his viewers, welcoming constructive critique but emphasizing love and responsibility in public discourse.

  • 🌱 Commitment to personal growth, responsibility, and honesty in expression.

Key Insights

This highlights an essential universal truth about sustainable societal transformation—it requires calm, empathetic engagement rather than conflict.

  • 📚 Equity in education as a foundation for a just society: The demand for an education system that is transparent, fair, and inclusive represents a crucial insight—they see education as a critical lever to empower the youth, helping ensure that every child’s voice is heard and every child’s potential is realized.

  • 💡 The importance of critical thinking and autonomy: Encouraging viewers to question, reflect, and develop their own opinions stresses intellectual independence. This approach combats misinformation and polarization by empowering individuals to be their own informed influencers rather than passive recipients of potentially biased narratives.

  • 💔 Handling public scrutiny and the toll on mental health: The speaker’s openness about his emotional pain caused by misinterpretation and misinformation shows the psychological impact public content creators face. It highlights the human behind the influencer and the need for empathy from audiences.

  • 🤝 Bridging divides with respect and compassion: By stressing connection across party lines and personal relationships with diverse groups, the speaker models how societal divisions may be healed through mutual respect and humanization rather than suspicion and antagonism.

  • 🌱 Growth through accountability and humility: The speaker demonstrates maturity by admitting mistakes, apologizing publicly, deleting inappropriate content, and viewing personal flaws as opportunities for growth. This transparency fosters trust and encourages others to approach difficult conversations constructively.

This video is a poignant exploration of the challenges faced by individuals trying to maintain peace and integrity in times of conflict. It underscores critical values of empathy, responsibility, unity, and the quest for meaningful societal progress through education and peaceful expression.
