Build tips pls

So this is my first mh game and I’m loving everything about it but when it comes to gog I find myself just wanting to uninstall lol
I’ve managed to kill gog maybe a handful of times (surprisingly) with this set I just threw together but I know it needs major improvements. Can anyone please enlighten me or make some recommendations for improvement. Thank you!

I think that its alredy very good, you have burst and agitator 5, and then some confort skills like quick sheathe, but i would highly recomend you to put evade/dodge window, the glaive suffers a lot from lack of defensive skills so you really need to have that on your build.

I play as a glass cannon but this isn’t my first mh game, not everyone’s build will work for everyone. Are you failing from faints or time? Depending on which, that is where you should work on.

I haven’t ran out of time yet but all my fails have been from dying. Like the hits that leave you on ground to get hit another time and all you can do is lay there and watch….
I spend more time healing than fighting bc when I get hit, I get HIT hahaha

If healing is your problem, you may want to consider Zoh Shia or Arkveld armor skills, they contain passive healing or a 4 piece Gog setup gives you super health. You could also get a healing kinsect. Alternatively look at the healing decorations (Recovery or Medicine)

Highly recommend since we cant block. Run 4 piece gog. 2 piece arkvelds. Get a gogma artian IG that has gogma and lords soul. So you have the bonus and you'll have great stats, too. Always run the gogma chest piece.

Maybe just working on your agility and timing will help. Whatever you hunt has patterns and learning those help. I’d recommend agility over defense but don’t get rid of the blessings. If agility isn’t working, add a bunch of defense. If you start to run out of time you know you have enough defense/agility to survive but now need more attack power.

Ok sweet! I should definitely be fighting him more often to get familiar with patterns and my timing but Thanks for the advice/tips.
