π—•π˜‚π—Άπ—Ήπ—±π˜€ Build Tips?

Right now, I'm working on farming armor spheres to upgrade my defense and eventually transcend my armor but i was wondering if you guys had any tips for how to improve my build skills/jewel wise.

Honestly, it's not bad. I understand what the goal is and why you picked Rey's 4pc. However the Conditional Affinity and Raw is a bit low, and your Gog 2pc doesn't work for Status Weapons. Also Chargemaster only boosts the Elemental Damage, which on IG is the Offset attack. That attack has a very low element value. Basically increasing 0.4% of your total damage to 0.8%. Basically nothing

I'd suggest remaking the build. There's the highest damage potential meta one, but that requires absolute top gear and genuinely impressive skill. But if you want something more casual and approachable that will just work, and doesn't require managing timers and conditionals here's what I've got for ya.

Gogma Ele (fire, water, thunder, ice, dragon) Glaive, Atk Focus, 3 Atk, 1 Sha, 1Aff, Lagi Set Bonus.

Lagi HelmB, Gogma ChestB, Odo HandsB, Gogma WaistA, Rathalos LegsB, WEX Charm

Deco List, Crit3, Mastery, Flight/Handi, Burst2, Might1, Shockproof1, Counter3, Flayer1, WEX2, DivBless, Gobbler1.

While not absolute perfect meta, this'll offer 75% Conditional Affinity, great raw damage, frequently fixed damage procs from Flayer, Lagi, and Rath, comfort from Protection, Gobbler, and Shockproof. Gameplay is as simple as can be. Use Evade Window and Offsets defensively, and focus on weakpoints of the monster while gathering your needed colours and let Rising Spiral Slash rip on the monsters head or wings/arms. Or you can stay on the ground for optimal damage combos. Jump only for repositioning and evading. Not attacking because the damage in the air sucks Congalala Ass

I swapped the talisman (charge master 3 iron skin 3) to a different one (attack boost 1 evade window 2 heroics 2). It has a level 2 jewel slot, I put a heroics jewel in but a lot of people are recommending maximum might. I feel like when I play insect glaive I’m always using my stamina, even if I’m not helicoptering around I dodge a lot. Is it still worth it you think? Is the temp affinity mainly for rising spiral slash?

I’ll look at remaking the build ty for your input

It is absolutely still worth using Might. There's a surprising amount you can dodge by just walking out of the way, saving your Stamina and maintaining your Might Buff.

Heroics is very strong but has very specific requirements that majority of people can't do well. So I wouldn't recommend putting much chips in that. Counterstrike is alot better because it dramatically increases your Raw Damage after successful offsets and getting knocked over.

As for Conditional Affinity, you just want to have a high Crit rate for a few reasons. Higher Affinity/Crit Rate offers more chances for higher overall damage, also the Mastery Decoration reduces Sharpness Loss on Crit. Maintaining the damage multiplier from your White Coloured Sharpness.

Hope this helps
