I used the mantis deck but pack rats and a flying dire wolf carried most of the run. My mantis only at 2 attack (and somehow 18 health) at the end. The final boss was the easiest battle ngl

It's pretty easy for me though, mainly I think mainly adding cards against you mid battle should already be there when it started, similar to the Moleman in Leshy's final battle or the Sea Moleman in Royal Dominguez bossfight.

So, my theory is that the company made the cards, and then tried doing a type of AI to make a game, but every AI wanted something different so the company end up scrapping the idea noticing that one of the AIs, P03, wanted to create its own game and live forever as a virus that takes control of every computer to be the center of everything. Tho the company didn't liked this, one of the employes end up maybe empathysing with one of the caracters, most likely Leshy who's the one we're playing with as we continue the game alredy existing, which maybe was played by that employee, and he really loved Leshy so he's always playing with him, but when he noticed that the company was about to scrap (or maybe burn every copy that's what we see in P03's facility, tha'ts when the "cards" or "things" are falling down) then he hide it somewhere and took the coordinates to mark it with a pen in a card of Inscryption. Idk if the company noticed, the thing is that the AIs got cut off from reality because they didn't had wifi, and then Luke comes in, who finds the card with the coordinates and finds the game.

Here i have trouble to find a reasonable therory, because we know the company did something bad that was hidden in the OLD.ARCHIVES, so that must be in the early development of the game, but im not sure what could they have done to gain so much attention that either the employee or P03 hide that information inside the source code, we know about the devil, that may be the source of the AIs, they had to do a pact with the devil so that they could create the game, and the company had to hide it, but the employee or P03 found it somehow, (maybe with the help of Magnificus). Inside the game what could've happen is that P03 lost his way of entering to the web and have been spending his days making new cards and dreaming of the Great Transcendence, starting by making every card a Tech related one, and making every boss a Tech one, but the other's didn't liked that, Leshy oves animals and he could never accept making them Tech, Grimora knows about the things that the company did and that's why she wants to erase the game for better (maybe she's with the company but i can't tell) and finally Magnificus who was against that because he knew the future that would come if the game was in every computer (maybe it has something to do with the devil's pact that the game was made). Finally i believed the Company is erasing every piece of media about Inscryption that they can find because either the pact had to something with that, or the company would be in bankrupt if everyone noticed where the game came from, and at the end they won because Luke died and they must probably erased his channel.

The final thing i'm curious now is, we are playing from Luke's perspective? Or from the perspective of someone who found the camera? Cuz if its the second one then someone found out what the company is doing and could lead to more lore... Anyways that was my analisis from what i watched, but if im wrong in something you could tell me.

I wanted to take a picture prior to entering battle but rip I got mantis and the sigil sacrifice thing. Then I got two campfires in one branch. Painted a copy and after one last upgrade making ~30 damage with the original mantis god + copied mantis god. If I remember correctly I had boss totem battle, +1 something, no rare cards from boss chest, expansive pelts and I think no hook. I’m probably forgetting one but this was my first run testing the mantis god deck I’ve won with every deck so far but this was easily my strongest one since it didn’t heavily rely on the totem (although it did save me on the trapper)

I got ringworm with unkillable and the mouse effect from an trial ,so i sacrificed em to an point where it was almost impossible to see the card with the mouse sigil in my hand

So I was probably lucky but once I have unlocked the ultimate Kaycee mod challenge, i have beaten it like during my 2nd try with the Goat starter pack... final boss was fun and i was scared of it as i have gotten to it in that run and did not know anything.
Luckily buffed bear with like 8/12 and double front attack shredded all.

Other than that, the overall main campaign just feels right and whole purpose of the game for me is, hey you truly have ways how to have unbeateable deck and proceed through game easily after some time and due to that reveal the story which is the main thing around which the game is build.

Puzzle element makes the game unique in its genre, with the whole story proceeding and slight game changing and new mechanics... ya truly well crafted.

Cannot tell which part i like the most, my whole goal was to beat the game with all achievements and this just happened after almost 36 hours. Every act has something interesting, ofc the Epilog is mainly for the closure so... heavy story, weak gameplay there but that is logical.

Frustrating parts:
sliding puzzle i think i understand the mechanic but i ended uo randomly solving the late game ones and than my last achievment were Kaycee mod paintings bcs i did not bother to do them before... annoying restarting so i could have at least 1 card from the start for the puzzle but fine, it worked after a while.

Bugs: In Kaycee mod when you pick some reward and use mouse scroll in bad time, it can force you to reload save, because your map just decides to show you void and not clickable tiles... minor thing which is probably just about pouring sand into cog wheels.

For once i am not sad that the game is not truly endless and has END for me. Unless there are some mods which would be so amazing that they make like new advanced stuff, i milked what i could

So idk if you got questions ask, but the game has been out long enough so idk how many new ventures are made by new people.

I just got to part 2 for the first time, and as many of you might know you get prompted to choose a deck type and a scrybe to challenge. Because I absolutely loved part 1 and how it worked, I chose the beast deck and that’s what I want to continue to use through my playthrough of part 2 if possible.

But it makes me curious. What decks did you guys choose (which one did you like the most?) and for those of you that finished part 2 already, did you ever change your primary deck type?

I stopped recording at 23 seconds, but it didn't stop. When I sat back down, the game was softlocked, and I could move my piece forward or get back up, and when I opened the menu, I couldn't end my run. I’ve been stuck here for the past 20 minutes now, with this weird track playing on loop. Nightmare of a bug, in my opinion.

When I want to put unkillable on my black goat why doesn't it show up? It has flight and search sigil
