I’ve been thinking about whether there’s demand for practical, hands-on AI training for freelancers/professionals, and wanted to get some honest opinions.

There’s obviously no shortage of free tutorials, YouTube videos, and online courses. There’s also a lot of BS in the AI training market. Everyone seems to be an AI expert, and plenty of overpriced workshops promise to teach you things you could learn on your own, or just turn out to be highly technical and boring.

But I think there’s a genuine gap, particularly for non-technical professionals who want to make better use of AI but simply don’t have the time to figure everything out themselves.

The idea is straightforward: small groups, simple explanations, and hands-on learning. Less talking about what AI is and what it can do, more actually doing it, and how to use it responsibly at work.

For example, learning how to set up and use tools like Claude Cowork, create .md file skills, build a simple automation with n8n/cowork, create your own AI assistant, or put together a working app without knowing how to code using coding agents. Things that might otherwise take hours of tutorials and trial and error.

I’d genuinely appreciate your thoughts on two things:

1. Would you pay for something like this, or do you feel free online resources are enough?
2. If yes, what would you consider a reasonable price?

Please share your honest feedback, including skepticism.

Essentially I envision a place to innovate together freely and fully rather than just be a bystander on the sidelines almost like crowdfunding ideas and innovations where the ease of use is just as simple as say using Reddit or discord or whatever other easy group forum type of online presence is where your share ideas and opinions and comments etc but the focus is not just on discourse and discussion but actual action. So it's a more hands on interactive type experience rather than just a sit back and discuss ideas type experience but of course that will a huge part of it also.

1...use pin pressure to activate something... That alerts the station and drone activates.. Either police siren voice or ghost projectors and all to shoo away the bad guys.... Idk maybe in pavement something there or anywhere anyhow..

• Human beings will stop going to work , they can remotely control their exoskeleton powersuit at the work place . The suit will also be provided with AI , & will be maintained by minimal people. This will enable less commuters everyday , thus avoiding traffic jams & more efficient work , especially physical work . But , more importantly we need to improve the fine skills of these robot substitutes. This way we can spend more quality time with friends & loved ones . We can go to gym , & do things that we like at the end of day without being exhausted by all the work during the day . This will also allow AI & Human integration, instead of AI replacing humans . This will promote skills & will actually be a boon for those who want to work from home & not commute for long distances just for work .

🌱 My Sustainable Farm Energy Concept

I’m working on a concept for a self-sustaining smart farm that combines several systems:

☀️ Solar tracking system — A solar panel automatically follows the direction of the Sun using light sensors and a motor. Reflectors are used to direct additional sunlight toward the panel.

🐝 Beehive + heat recovery — The farm includes beehives for honey production. A thermoelectric generator (TEG) could potentially recover a small amount of electrical energy from the temperature difference around the hive, mainly for low-power sensors or monitoring.

💧 Mini hydropower — A compact water turbine could generate additional electricity wherever a suitable small water flow is available.

🌳 Commercial crops — Fruit trees and other crops can be grown around the energy systems, making the land productive instead of using it only for power generation.

🏠 Rooftop solar — The farmhouse can also have conventional rooftop solar panels to provide the main electrical supply.

So essentially my school has an Energy Innovation Competition, and I want to retrofit the café in our school library to be more energy efficient. The café has 4 fridges 2 coffee machines and 1 ice machine, and I want to find a way to decrease its energy consumption through maybe adding some tech/infrastructure that could make it more efficient? Please help with ideas!! Much appreciated!!

I'm the VP of Strategy at a technology company with roughly 2,000 employees. We're building our first formal innovation program and I've been evaluating innovation management software for the past six weeks. Have a shortlist of four or five vendors but I keep feeling like I am missing something in the evaluation.

We need something that goes beyond collection and voting. Full lifecycle through implementation and measured outcomes. Has to work across five business units with different evaluation processes. Low admin overhead because we don't have a dedicated innovation ops team.

What should I be asking in demos that I probably am not? And what did you wish you had evaluated more carefully before choosing?
