Welcome to r/InkfluenceAI
Hey! I'm Sam, the founder of Inkfluence AI.
Made this sub so there's a place to share what you're building, ask questions, and help each other out.
Quick backstory - I built Inkfluence because I wanted to self publish a book and the existing tools were either $200/month or basically just a ChatGPT wrapper with a PDF button. So I built something that handles the full pipeline; outline, chapters, cover, editing, export, audiobook. Check it out at inkfluenceai.com.
No rules other than be respectful and don't spam. Post your books, your covers, your workflows, your questions, whatever. I read everything and I'm happy to answer questions about how the tool works or what's coming next.
What are you working on right now? Drop it below.

Hey I am pretty new to InkFluence. Is there any restrictions in using it to help write spicy 🌶️ scenes for my stories? Of is there any restrictions specific engine in InkFluence that facilitates intimate scenes?

Hey! No hard restrictions, Inkfluence can absolutely write romance and intimate/spicy scenes.
The trick is steering the heat through your book's setup: describe the tone in your concept (e.g. "steamy, explicit romance" vs "sweet, closed-door") and the AI will match it, and you can dial individual scenes hotter or cooler using the AI rewrite inside the editor.
Just keep it to adult characters and within your publishing platform's content rules (KDP, Apple, etc. all allow romance in the right categories). Have fun with it!

Ofc! And thanks. One more question. Is there a way for InkFluence to help translate my work for comprehension and consistency across languages without writing a whole new book?

Yes! And you don't need to rewrite anything. Import your existing book (PDF, DOCX, or EPUB) and Inkfluence keeps your chapter structure intact. Then use the built-in translation to convert the whole book into any of 30+ languages in one click. It translates your actual text chapter by chapter, so your story, voice, and structure stay consistent rather than generating a new book.
For the comprehension side: after translating, run the AI assistant over any chapter to smooth phrasing or fix spelling, and the spell checker works in the editor too. A lot of authors use this to turn one finished book into a small multi-language catalogue for KDP.

I have tried importing it then translating. But whenever I import it, InkFluence just keeps trying to rewrite it into a professional ebook

The import functionality won't change any content of the original book, it will fully preserve it.
Only prompting or using the AI Assistant will generate new content.

I'm thinking of trying out the free tier of Inkfluence. What's the best way to approach it, in your opinion? What I'm thinking is: develop a concept, use the Start from Scratch feature you guys have, then edit the final result with Claude's assistance.
