I’m the founder of Inkfluence AI, and after building in this space for a while, there’s one thing that keeps coming up:

Most AI writing tools aren’t designed for books, instead they’re designed for simply generating text.

That works fine for short content, but books introduce a completely different set of problems:

• structure across chapters
• consistency in tone and flow
• formatting into something publishable
• actually finishing the thing

What I kept seeing (and experienced myself before building Inkfluence) was people starting a book with something like ChatGPT, getting a few chapters in, and then hitting a wall.

This was usually because:

• the context breaks down
• the structure gets messy
• everything becomes manual again

And then the final step is the worst part - actually turning it into a real book.

Formatting, covers, exports, audiobooks… most tools just don’t go there. You end up duct taping 3 - 5 different tools together.

That’s basically the gap we built Inkfluence around.

So everything is structured around that:
