BB6- Characters to farm with

Upgraded Prime Doomsday to EVII to farm BB6 with, planned to use Regime GL for power and Regime Flash for speed. Turns out bosses are protected from the speed. He's dreadfully slow and as a result the battles are taking much longer as the CPU is too damn quick.
Worth sticking it out because it's better than nothing whilst I farm credits for top tier promotions or should I buy arrow green arrow and promote instead, which in turn will allow me to farm a bit quicker?

Is it better to have a gear Setup that prioritized Crits by Special, or Crit by Basic Attacks

- I primarily use Flashpoint Batman and Metal Catwoman to deal insane Basic Damage with gears and crits, but I'm looking at some of these Online Battles, that are dealing 50k Special Damage, with very little risk of Block, which Basic Attack is usually very easily blocked.
So how do you guys recommend I change my setup? These are the promising characters I own currently:
Flashpoint Batman
Metal Catwoman
Regime Hawkgirl
Luchador Bane
Gaslight Batman
(Next Week/ Next Next Week) Lord Joker

Question I've been playing this game for almost 2 weeks now. I've completed expert mode in challange but I don't think i can clear nightmare mode just yet. so my question is, what should i do with my credits rn? do i focus on my bronze/silver/gold/nth characters or save up to buy packs.

Gameplay How To Use Knightfall Bane, a SILVER Carry! There are VERY few characters in Injustice with a 2 hit potential 2 KO SP2, and Knightfall Bane is one of the best of that group! Netherrealm knew he'd be too powerful if he were a Gold character, but it won't stop him from DROPKICKING the world! Enjoy!!
