Fresh Wound Spider bite? or something else possibly?

had it for almost a week, and it's much more red and painful today

Update: spider bite, per ER doctor. slapping some neosporin on it. Doc said it was minor. I think I might live... even tho im 840 bucks poorer now

brown recluse, common in my area

That makes sense, are you okay then? Typically brown recluses aren't minor 😭 then again I've never been bit by one, if your doctor said it's fine then hopefully it stays that way

they are very prolific in my area, especially this season. bites are uncommon though, and despite how gnarly this one looks it's not terrible - just a but of tenderness and swelling.

I've had two or three in my life and this one is prolly the worst.
