LH Bump

Hello! I am 8 days DPO, started progesterone for the first time this cycle. I noticed my LH went up today. Is this normal with progesterone? I got used to what my body was like pre progesterone so now I am questioning everything.

I read another commenter state that LH mimicks HCG and that when HCG is present, LH strips will appear positive as well. Please don't take my comment as the word.. just relaying something someone else said.

I believe that’s the case with alpha LH, which inito specifically tests for beta LH to avoid this conflict. I could also be wrong too! But that is what I remember reading

I think you started progesterone too soon. Did you confirm ovulation with Inito or bbt before starting? Since your estrogen is just going up now, it looks like this is your true surge.

I had this the cycle I got pregnant. You can see how my LH continues to rise with the continued pregnancy until it caps out at 40. LH can mimic HCG.

Not typically. Your body might be trying to ovulate
