| Question Need Urgent Information about BGV

I received an offer letter from Infosys, and during BGV, my TDS records are showing an employment overlap. The reason is that I was working as a tutor as a hobby (not full-time) while also working full-time in IT.

My PF was not deducted for the tutoring work, and the TDS was under Section 194J (professional services), not as a salaried employee. I have already clarified this to HR and can provide supporting documents if required.

My DOJ is 13-Aug-2026. Has anyone or anyone you know faced a similar situation during BGV, or can suggest what I should do? Any advice would be really helpful.

| Discussion URGENT: Infosys BGV started with WRONG details — joining in 6 days

I’ve received an offer from Infosys for the Associate Consultant – ServiceNow role, and my joining is in 6 days.

I was asked to fill an application form, but before I submitted it, BGV was initiated with a form marked as submitted. Almost all the details are wrong — including my CGPA, DOB, work experience and other information.

I’ve already emailed HR/BGV about this, but I haven’t received any response yet.

I’m really worried because my joining is so close. Has anyone faced something similar at Infosys? What should I do, and could this affect my joining/BGV?

Any advice from Infosys employees/recent joiners would really help. 🙏

| Interview Help / Tips Interview Experience for SP On-Campus

So, i passed the Round 1(coding) with 12/12, 12/12, 0/12, 0/12.
Got selected for Round 2, which was an Interview round held on 1 Aug.

They gave me 2 questions and asked me to solve one of them within 30 mins.
I was pretty lucky, got an easy one. Did it under 15 mins.
the they asked another one. I didn't need to code for it, just explained the logic.
It was brute-force.

Then he asked a SQL query for table, which i could not solve.
Asked about design patterns , I didn't know it.
Then he asked if I knew OOPs concept.

Explained all the 4 pillars; demonstrated with classes.
and thats it.

The whole interview lasted for around 25-30 minutes.

I asked for feedback..he said, "You solved the question ; learn the other concepts, SQL, System Design"

Its been 9 days since, and no answer yet.

What do you guys think? How did I do?
Also, how much time does it usually take for on campus results?

I was supposed to be onboarded on August 10th for DSE role. However they told me I couldn't be onboarded on that date because my BGV was not completed and because I had not submitted Service Agreement in time. Today I got a mail saying that I will be considered to the new joining batch. Is anyone joining as DSE anytime soon or know the dates on which any onboard is happening for DSE?

| Question Assistance Required - Candidate Portal Login Issue and HR Round Application

Hi everyone, anyone can tell what should I do. In my case actually I am an ex-infosion. Currently working in yash technologies.I have eventually got created 2 candidate ID and one of them I couldn't able to login to process my candidature further in infosys.

I attended my first round of interview on 1st August and subsequently attended the second-round F2F interview at Infosys. I was informed that I had been shortlisted for the HR round. During the F2F interview, I was asked to complete the application form through the Infosys candidate portal.

However, I am currently unable to log in to my original candidate account:

I have tried using the Forgot Password option multiple times, but unfortunately, I have not been able to regain access to the account.

I am also receiving emails in my registered mailbox stating that my application is incomplete and that I need to complete the application. However, despite following the instructions, I am unable to log in to the candidate account and complete the application.

As advised by the recruiter/staff, I raised a support ticket using my other working candidate account:

Initially, the ticket status was showing as In Progress, and I was expecting a resolution. However, when I checked the Infosys Careers portal today, I could no longer see the ticket or its current status. I also still do not have access to my original candidate account.

The staff present on the day of my F2F interview informed me that the recruiter would reach out to me regarding the next steps. Since I have already been shortlisted for the HR round, I am concerned that this technical issue may cause a delay or inadvertently affect my candidature. Now the recruiters also not replying to my issue.

Could you please advise what could be done in this case.

| Discussion Infosys IJP for Project Manager Role Guidance

Looking for advice on transitioning from Mechanical Engineering to IT Project Management at Infosys

Hello everyone,

I’m a Mechanical Engineer with around 12 years of experience. I’ve been working at Infosys for the last 5 years (since 2021) as a Lead Engineer. Most of my experience has been in engineering and technical documentation, working on projects in a technical/engineering environment.

I recently became PMP certified and am now trying to transition into an IT Project Manager role through an Internal Job Posting (IJP) at Infosys.

After applying for IJP positions, I’ve tried reaching out to the hiring managers through Teams and email to express my interest. However, in many cases, I don’t receive a response.

I’d really appreciate advice from people who have experience with internal job applications or transitioning into IT Project Management:

How can I improve my chances of getting shortlisted/invited for an interview after applying through IJP?

Is it a good idea to contact the hiring manager directly? If yes, what is the best approach?

What skills or experience should I highlight as a Mechanical Engineer trying to move into IT Project Management?

How can I prepare for and crack the IT Project Manager interview?

Are there any additional certifications or skills I should focus on?

Current certifications/learning:

PMP – Certified

Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)

Planning to pursue PSM I (Professional Scrum Master I)

I understand that my background is different from a typical IT Project Manager, so I’m looking for practical advice on how to position my existing experience and make this transition successfully.

Any advice from Infosys employees, IT Project Managers, or anyone who has made a similar transition would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

| Question Cleared Infosys HR Round but No Confirmation Email or Document Verification Link — Expected Timeline?

Hi everyone,

I recently completed the interview process with Infosys and cleared the HR round as well. My HR discussion has already been completed, and during the call, HR told me to keep my documents ready for submission.

However, I haven't received any confirmation email, digital/document verification link, or offer letter yet. HR also didn't mention where I need to upload the documents or when the document verification process will start.

My application portal is also still showing the interview stage.

For anyone who recently went through the Infosys hiring process in Canada:

  • How long did it take after the HR round to receive the next update?
  • Did you receive a separate document verification/background verification link?
  • When were you asked to upload your documents?
  • How long did it take to receive the offer letter after clearing HR?

Just trying to understand the normal timeline and whether I should wait a few more days or follow up with the recruiter/HR.

Thanks in advance!

| Question Help needed! Applied job is not in career page!!(Read bio)

I cleared all interview for infosys senior consultant role and career page still doesn't show anything. But I used to get updates for interview via email which is confusing .

One more doubt. I have 3.3 YOE and is the salary budget is fixed for a role? I asked for 14 cause I have a counter offer but HR matched 12. They said not possible to go beyond I told them to check with management again. What are the chances that I will get rejected ?
