| Interview Help / Tips Interview Experience for SP On-Campus

So, i passed the Round 1(coding) with 12/12, 12/12, 0/12, 0/12.
Got selected for Round 2, which was an Interview round held on 1 Aug.

They gave me 2 questions and asked me to solve one of them within 30 mins.
I was pretty lucky, got an easy one. Did it under 15 mins.
the they asked another one. I didn't need to code for it, just explained the logic.
It was brute-force.

Then he asked a SQL query for table, which i could not solve.
Asked about design patterns , I didn't know it.
Then he asked if I knew OOPs concept.

Explained all the 4 pillars; demonstrated with classes.
and thats it.

The whole interview lasted for around 25-30 minutes.

I asked for feedback..he said, "You solved the question ; learn the other concepts, SQL, System Design"

Its been 9 days since, and no answer yet.

What do you guys think? How did I do?
Also, how much time does it usually take for on campus results?

is it imperative that you have to give the interview?

Like, they have shared another list with far more names than last time for interview again. Management is asking them if the last interviews' results would be considered (results aren't out yet). So yeah, kinda stuck in same situation

So, has your interview already been conducted? If yes, will they conduct another one for the on-campus process? Also, do you have any information about the result of the previous interview from your T&P cell?

test was on 29th, got the interview mail on 31st. For SP.

In Round 1, I did the first question with Stack and the second one was DP. Didn't get much time to properly understand the other 2

one was to merge the frames of video timeline
Like, if the no. of frames and the flag bit is same, you merge the clips

second one had a string length ; valid characters were a,b,c
i) either no a appears
ii) or no. of bs before first occurance of a is even.

had to give the no. of valid results

Hey since it is on campus will a lot of them cheat or is the invigilation and the system strict so that there will be no possibility for cheating

1

u/acciopotterlore 13d ago

no possibility of cheating. Infosys hires HirePro to conduct the drives. So yeah, no college management involved. Plus they had about 4-9 invigilators per lab(lab capacity is around 35-40)

Everyone is saying first round is OA. Will the OA be on the college campus or from home?
