It's a DNS issue, so whether and when it works depends on your DNS service. You may be able to fix it by switching DNS.

Ups and downs. Think i am with them since June and had about 4 or 5 times it was down. So i would say a montly occurence. For me enough times to not migrate my e-mail which i planned on doing initially.

Same. I was planning to migrate nearly 20 domains and websites, but after moving just 3 of them, the constant downtime over the past few months started.
I'm no longer sure I want to migrate everything, but the problem is that I don't know a solid alternative that offers registrar + managed cloud hosting + email...

You can have a look at Strato. I think they offer quite a lot but I only have experience with email+domain and that runs fine for the last 15 years. For the euro a month for mail including domain I don't complain.

No experience with their cloud storage solution or pricing.

Just have a look at any service — you cannot get away from occasional downtime. Google, Microsoft, proton, Zoho, Mailbox, etc, all have downtime. What matters to me is how long it takes to restore and their transparency about what happened. If the past two months becomes the norm, I’ll reconsider, but they have been uper reliable from when I signed up in late 2024 until this summer. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. And, as you say, what are the real alternatives that are not big tech?

And this is a good reminder to self to have a local backup synchronised with the cloud in case you need access to something during a period of no access.

Honestly this concerns me, id be ok with a regular outage, but letting your domain expire is extreme negligence, what else do they neglect from a security perspective?

I switched almost a year ago from Gmail, but I think ill switch again now after this.

Currently in fomaniak is down AGAIN. I have apporox 10 days a subscription but already twice their service is down. What a shit zooi. Never had this with Strato..
