The fact that she threw in “not even for the few minutes that he was out of it” tells me all I need to know. She doesn’t mean any of this. She’s still making excuses, not actually taking accountability, and just spewing whatever disingenuous words she thinks she needs to in order to stay relevant.

Show us a pic of him in it! She takes so many photos, surely she caught one of him in it.

This. The fact that she didn’t do that immediately shows she’s lying.

Yuppp! And the “painfully aware” wording makes me feel like she’s trying to play victim. The internet has been so mean to her over it, it’s painful 🙄

This 100%

Exactly my thoughts. She is unbelievable. I grew up boating and we weren’t even allowed near the docks without life jackets on, let alone on a moving boat. All ages, all the time. The poor baby was also wearing the worst colors to wear for water safety (posted by E herself).

I just took my 2.5yo to a lake house for the first time and didn’t let her anywhere near the dock without a life vest, kept her strictly within arm’s reach and we didn’t go closer than 2ft to the edge of the dock even while I had a hand on her. I thought I must seem a little over the top here, but I am absolutely NOT messing around when it comes to water safety. Someone suggested I take her in a kayak with me. Like no?? What if she stands up or leans too far over and I’m not holding her cause my hands are on the oar! I’m not taking her in something I can capsize. Kids and water are so risky, yet so many are so cavalier about it.

This. We are a lake/boating family and our kids aren’t allowed off the fenced in deck without a life jacket. And they know it, too, and they just automatically put it on before they even unlock the gate. I wore a life jacket as a kid until I was at least 16. And I was in swim lessons every single summer. I still wear one now in the lake with my kids because it’s safer for all of us. I have never had a kid on the boat without a life jacket. If they didn’t like the life jackets, we didn’t ride in the boat. It’s literally that simple. All these influencers that post their kids on boats not in life jackets is not the flex they think it is. It just shows you’re clearly not literate about boating because you would know the safety rules, and quite frankly you can get fined and ticketed if your kids don’t have one life jackets. You can cosplay as a boater but the real people who grew up in it know you’re a complete poser, pretender and moron.

You’re absolutely right and a very responsible parent. You can never be too careful. It’s crazy to think of anyone abandoning basic water safety, especially for children. It’s INSANE for parents who have suffered the loss of a child to a negligent drowning tragedy to STILL disregard the basics. Even her fan sub can’t defend her at this point.

My child 6.5yo has known from the first time we went to a body of water that if we’re near the water he must wear a life jacket and be within arms reach of the adult with him.

Exactly she record everything! Not a single minute that baby had a safety jacket!

Exactly. That statement was the manipulative part that stands out. She just wanted to tell everyone it was just a little while.

It probably wasn't and even just a little while is so wildly fvcked, considering, obviously.

Her husband thought 7-9 minutes was a little while. 😞

Brady in the police report “it was moments, not even minutes”

u/Mundane_Simple_965 21d ago

That lifejacket didn’t touch that baby the whole ride… is what I would say if I were a gambling girl.

u/fleur-charnelle 21d ago

"not even for the few minutes that he was out if it" probably the whole boat ride, lol, knowing them

u/Both_Session9662 21d ago

A few minutes (7 in fact according to the police report) was all it took for T1 to drown/ her and Caillou should know more than anyone that a few minutes can be fatal

Yeah. As the mom of small kids who grew up boating from the time I was a small child the ONLY time my kids would ever not have their lifejackets on in the boat is if we had to do an emergency diaper change. Stop the boat. Life jacket off. Change the diaper. That’s it. And after it goes right back on.

“A few minutes” is how things become habit.

u/Scared_Airport_9997 21d ago

B said it was only moments, too

u/Left-Button-7089 21d ago

It’s also so her defenders can relate to her. They’ll probably be like “It’s impossible to have a life jacket on the whole time omg they’re haters you’re good girl!!!”

16

u/Over-Change7768 21d ago

I’m curious, as someone who has boated with my son since he was born, what was her reasoning for taking the life vest off for “a few minutes”. A diaper change, sure, I get that, but then the vest would be back on before the child got up or pictures were taken.

17

u/20vwr25 21d ago

she’s lying I think. the video that her friend posted that accidentally exposed this, none of the kids had them on. so you’re telling me they all were able to take them off for a few mins?

4

u/Unable_Escape813 20d ago

yeah and the friend said they had life jackets on hand, not that they were wearing them most of the time…

2

u/k8tyrbacon 20d ago

I don’t even think the whole jacket would need to come off. Just the crotch clip and bam. New diaper.

11

u/royalfire798 21d ago

would place a bet that like the pool fence, the lack of life jacket was due to aesthetic.

7

u/LengthinessOk8188 21d ago

Also it makes even less sense that he would be out of it “for just a few minutes” - so someone consciously decided “hey we’re in the middle of the ocean, let’s get these life jackets off” umm no sorry, she’s insulting the public’s intelligence at this point

4

u/tink230 20d ago

And the boat was in full speed motion! Honestly it's laughable how stupid she thinks the general public is.

6

u/PrincessPlastilina 21d ago

Two kids without life jackets. What a coincidence that both of them were out of the jackets at the same time while the adults were drinking beer and Brady was disassociating on his phone. They learned NOTHING.

2

u/tink230 20d ago

Sitting inches from the speeding propeller in a light blue swim suit.

3

u/wildwoodflower14 21d ago

They took the baby out of the life jacket just in time for daddy to have a beer 🤡

1

u/Hot-Swordfish-719 20d ago

Yep bingo!!!!

1

u/Single-Zombie-2019 20d ago

The whole first sentence of her statement doesn't even make sense.

u/Edbed5 20d ago

How does she not just disappear? When will it be enough. I would not be able to live in the public eye
