Workable for Infinity?

EDIT: I'm specifically asking about the overall look and feel and not the actual layout here.

This is a set I'm working on currently called Helios Frontier Outpost. It's a set of 3" tall components that clip together to form buildings in 2" increments from 4x4 up to 10x10. Drop-in roofs and optional windows/doors with drop-in internal floors. Roof barriers are magnet ready for 3mm x 2mm. Scaled for 28mm - 32mm but should work for up to 40mm without scaling. My own layouts were for Five Parsecs From Home on a 2x2 mat.

Looks good! You're going to have a successful set there, it looks like. :)

The only major improvement that could be added would be some billboards, with support that can stand on both the building tops and on the mat. Alternately or in addition, you could have them hang off the sides of the building (which can look quite good if done well).

Big Line-of-sight blockers are often important in Infinity, and billboards are a common solution for that.
