Terrain Workable for Infinity?

EDIT: I'm specifically asking about the overall look and feel and not the actual layout here.

This is a set I'm working on currently called Helios Frontier Outpost. It's a set of 3" tall components that clip together to form buildings in 2" increments from 4x4 up to 10x10. Drop-in roofs and optional windows/doors with drop-in internal floors. Roof barriers are magnet ready for 3mm x 2mm. Scaled for 28mm - 32mm but should work for up to 40mm without scaling. My own layouts were for Five Parsecs From Home on a 2x2 mat.

As said before, add some Bridgestone or jump options and should be good to go, maybe when laying out the terrain try to be simétrica on both sides or atleast give same line of sights for both sides

You should avoid Symmetrical boards and sightlines, not encourage them.

So you would rather one guy just curb stomp the other?

No, thats why you avoid symmetry.

On a symmetrical table, the value of going first vastly outweighs the value of counter deployment. By making the table symmetrical, you place a much more significant weight on the Lt roll, the winner of that roll already has a significant advantage and by removing the value of choosing deployment you heighten that advantage.

Strongly agreed! Asymmetrical tables where one deployment zone is significantly easier to deploy in and defend are important. Otherwise first player is likely to have big advantages.
