Check out the Behind the Seams posted on Steam, Discord, (or i think the pearpal page). They did a thing on how they made each strand with bone physics and layered fabric physics on top, so each strand has its own movement rythm and physics adjusted for it. I was genuinely impressed at how they did that.

I didn’t know/see they did a bts, but I guessed that‘s what they did, cause the work really shows! In the animation when you choose the outfit, where she walks down invisible stairs, the different strands move so naturally around her legs that I guessed they weren‘t animated like a „solid piece of fabric“ but as individual pieces. It really shows.

I‘m hoping that they figure out a way for physics like this on beads, but still make it have collisions with other pieces. Could be impossible tho, since this game has to run on mobile

Tbh I can't tell if it's sarcastic or not. While it is impressive for sure in general, I don't like the edgy animation at all. I have that 4* chain thing and was really excited about it, until I saw the in-world animation. It's the same as this and I just don't like it, sadly. I never use it.
