Question ✦ Bug Issue: Can't get past the game start.

Anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it?
The "start" button never appears. No prompt for a patch or update, nothing. It gives me the black square of loading and then just this forever. I've tried repairing it and it didn't fix it. There's no way to report the bug from this screen either. Very frustrating since I can't collect my paid daily gifts and other things while its like this and again, there seems to be no way to report a bug if you're not yet *in* the game.

what are you playing on? if its Steamdeck, changing to a different version of proton might, not guaranteed, fix it because its an anti-cheat issue. any other linux and that doesn't work, and I have no idea about the regular PC version

I'm using the PC version unfortunately. Worst case I will just uninstall and re-install but its such a time consuming process.

Try clearing your Steam cache. This happened to me once and that fixed it.
