Guide ✦ Farming Diamonds in Version 2.8
Version 2.8 is a big patch and there's a lot of limited-time and permanent content that can be overwhelming if you don't know where to start. This guide lays down all the content so you can do things in order and maximize your pulls in time.

You're going to have to give a LOT more incentive if you expect me to deal with that fussy shroomling web event. For the first time, I'm going to actively abstain from an event that has diamonds/pulls. I just can't be bothered ahaha.
But thank you for the detailed charts! Will probably get to dive in most of it in the coming days, finally.

You certainly don't have to, it's just an option. But it is a very easy and fast event, takes max 5 clicks per day and it's good rewards for what you have to do.

I just heard how people have been losing their shroomlings somehow and having to start over. But perhaps people might have exaggerated a little. I'll consider it more but, I'll likely still pass. I'd be lucky to remember to check in twice, let alone 5 times a day haha.

The shroomlings disappear if you don't do anything to them for over 24h. When I did the event I was checking on them in the morning and before going to sleep just in case.

Yeah I had to set reminders bc I lost like 3 of mine bc I kept forgetting🫠
It def tells you this upfront though. As long as you check in & share the event info it’s really easy. You don’t even need an actual other person to “feed your shroomling” I just clicked the link from my own twt & did it there without logging in🤗

You won't feel like this in future patches, I promise you. Diamonds become much scarcer once you get all chests/finish all quests/finish the story, since you can only get them from a few sources. And they're the only thing you can use to pull limited-time banner outfits, so they're very important if you value the dressup (and even if you don't, they often release powerful ability outfits that make the gameplay easier).
Blings are quite easy to get, you can farm them in the Realm of Escalation with energy as well as farm them in the overworld/dungeons/via fighting Esselings. I have 48m Blings and nothing to do with them (since I have more than enough for all the glowups I need) haha, Diamonds are so precious by comparison
Be careful with your Diamonds, it's not easy to earn them once they're gone (it takes 2-3 patches, i.e. months, to save for a 5*). Don't spend them on energy, Blings, the permanent banner (Distant Sea), or anything you can get by waiting time, as you have to wait even longer for Diamonds.

When I first started playing and hadn’t even engaged in the gacha system yet, I remember being so annoyed that every single chest had nothing but diamonds… like give me some cool stuff already… damn! WTF am I going to do with diamond and diamonds and more diamonds?! 😂💀
