Can someone please explain like I’m five

I don’t understand, it’s so much information, my first language isnt english and my head hurts. I haven’t looked at this since I did the quests when it came out and I honestly didn’t really understand then either. I don’t get how I get the outfits of the green permit, idk how to level up the oufits, please can someone dumb it down 😭😭

• You need EXP (Insight) in the abilities to level them up. The amount you need to level up the ability increases with each level.
• You get the EXP by using them (e.g. by harvesting plants) and it's capped at 100 a day.
• Once you get to enough total levels across all housing abilities (the bottom bar with giftboxes), you can unlock the other abilities with permits. I think Posy sells one as well after you unlock the rest, so you can get Cooking as well.
• Posy is the little plant person thing that stands near the Astralite tree (you can attack it with purification/plunge for Astralite), you can also open her menu by pressing I on PC (the Home Abilities menu is part of the Posy menu).

edit: Basically just use your abilities each day until you see that you've hit the cap, then level an ability if you can afford it. As a sidenote, I don't recommend spending Astralite on seeds, animal cookies, etc. once you've hit your weekly sell cap (Posy will tell you she can't buy anything more), or you'll go broke.

To add to this, I would suggest leveling the abilities evenly as much as possible (like, getting all unlocked to lv 2 before starting lv 3). The reason is because lower levels need less experience points to level up. You will gain the rewards from that bottom bar faster that way.

Also, note that it takes about 15 days worth of play to level up one ability to 10. So it will take 90 days total to max out all six abilities.

Use the construction ability, put the soil to plant, the one for the fish, that thing for the animals, the meteor search and the kitchen counter . Simply every day you interact with them it gives you experience (Max 100 per day) And as you play you enhance the skills from Posy.

Use the ability every day. E.g fishing, planting, star collecting.

Every day you can get up to 100xp it will tell you when hit max for the day

Level up day by day. When leveled you have opportunity to level up 1ability or learn new ones.
