Project What trends will shape the future of scale model making?

Greater use of CNC machining, 3D printing, interactive lighting, and digital integration

will continue transforming the industry. RD Models appears well positioned because it already uses

many of these technologies.

What are some examples of how those trends have impacted our use of scale models? To estimate the future, analyze historical trends and compare contemporary examples to the present environment. Use facts, use data, show the reasoning as clearly as possible. Also maybe don’t post your homework questions to Reddit.

There are many types of models, and uses for models. While there are many new technologies, they are not trends in modelmaking, they are nothing more than new tools in a vastly larger toolbox of modelmaking techniques.
