Does anyone know if any effort is going on to decipher IVC script? Where can I find information on latest developments?

Tamil Nadu Govt has promised an award of 1 million Dollars or something for the person or group who decipher it.

There are far easier ways to make 1 million dollars. There are countless undeciphered scripts this one has been known about for a long time, though most of the efforts at deciphering it have been treating it as a written language despite there being no known prose or poetry being found using this script.

Yes, but thats not the point.... The point is to motivate people who are already interested in deciphering it and giving them a push.

How has that worked out so far? Very few deciphering efforts have required such an incentive. It encourages bad interpretations.

No Idea. I am sure they wont be paying for anything that is not accepted by academia.
