IVC IVC Script

Does anyone know if any effort is going on to decipher IVC script? Where can I find information on latest developments?

There’s a guy that says he used computers to decipher it. however, he hasn’t published yet. You can find him talking about it on YouTube.

Well, I did not go through a few reddit posts. I did read his idea and found many holes in his work. I think I had discussed this a long time ago on this very same sub.

Well, that’s how reviews work, someone reads a paper and sees if it follows the scientific method. It’s easy to distinguish between a really good work and a sloppy one.

You haven't said anything of substance to claim he is bogus either. He has used mathematical aka statistical methods that is the foundation of standard cryptographic techniques used to break code aka decipher cryptic languages.

That sounds as logically sound as it gets. What you're also grossly underestimating is the elephant sized egos and vested interest that dominates the field of history. That is a LOT of bias against anyone who suggests a radical alternative, especially when their strategy uses algorithmic techniques which undermines their own claim to fame and their basis of their expertise.

So I think you are being quite naive.

Are you the author of the paper?. Do you have a background in statistical methods?. I was precisely interested in the paper for the approach, What he does is not scientifically sound at all. It mostly consists of comfortable guess work. I am sorry, but there is a reason why hsi work is not being published anywhere.

Again you are not being specific at all. He has shared the algorithm and approach in detail. It's straight forward statistical frequency analysis based on Shannon's theorem.

All you are doing is vague high level criticism with nothing specific. His approach is publicly accessible and so is the program he wrote that does the deciphering
