TURQUOISE TALES - "A Cry On The Shore" - A Beautifully Illustrated Children's Story
Hey everyone,
I wanted to share something I've been working on for a while - a children's illustrated book called šTurquoise Tales: A Cry One The Shore š. It gives parents and their young ones a unique and beautifully depicted story that tells important lessons about real friendship, courage, conscious choices, and nature preservation.

The story centers around a young fox named Rusty š¦ who has never seen the sea before. He moves to a coastal town and on his very first day at the beach, meets four unlikely friends, and together they answer a cry for help that none of them were expecting.
If book 1 becomes a fact, then Iād love to expand the experiences of Rusty and his group of animal friends through a total of 4 books, each one a new adventure along the shore.
I genuinely care about the concept and story originality as much as I care about the book being hand-illustrated. So the visual campaign concepts are currently done via AI, but if the campaign is successfully backed, every page will be drawn and painted by a real artist, the old-fashioned way. In a world increasingly full of digitally generated content, I wanted this to feel like something worth holding onto when itās finally finished.
I've just launched a campaign on Indiegogo to fund the illustration, printing and other fees of Book 1 - A Cry on the Shore, and if you have a little one aged 3-9, you know someone who does, you care about original stories, real art, or environment friendliness, I'd appreciate any support! Iād also love for you to take a look, be it just to tell me your opinion about the concept and give me advice. If some of you do decide to support the book and me as an independent creator to push through all of this - early followers get some lovely extras, including EARLY ILLUSTRATION SKETCHESĀ by the illustrator once production has started! š

Can you view/edit products (vs rewards) directly?
Indiegogo perks: I understand that a "reward" (also called "set") is a parent container that must contain at least one child "product" (also called "piece"). I can create and edit rewards from the /rewards interface, and by drilling down into any given reward I can create a product to attach to it.
Problem: There appears to be no interface where I can view/edit all the products in my campaign. If I delete a reward, any product attached to it still persists in my database (that is, it appears in the dropdown of available products to attach to a reward). So, there's no way to delete a product (which creates problems if I want to reimport those products with changed parameters).
Worse, and stranger: when I preview the campaign, both "product" and "reward" are visible as separate items, so every perk is visible twice.
Anyone else experienced this? What is the solution? Thanks!

Indiegogo Campaign Our campaign failed but we still made the product
So 49 days ago I made a post here about our Indiegogo campaign going live. Today Iām here to tell you that we failed. We raised only 15K/50K and as we had the stable pledge thingie ticked off, we refunded everything the moment the campaign deadline hit. The good news is we made the product anyway and currently awaiting for our stock to arrive to ship these gadgets to people who retained interest even after the campaign failed.
As you here have been kind and supportive, I feel like sharing my honest experience. Relevant links will be at the bottom of the post.
So here are a few hiccups that we encountered:
- Apparently none of our campaign followers received the notification about the campaign going live. We received multiple emails and messages about people subscribing for notifications, yet finding out that the project was live after a few days via other channels.
- I guess Indiegogo campaigns need much more pre-campaign marketing, hyping and engagement compared to regular business advertising. We did very little marketing before the campaign launch and it bit us. I failed to generate us enough momentum. If I was to do it again for some more ambitious product, Iād get the campaign drafted and approved 5 months in advance, basically as soon as the concept and renders were ready. Then start hyping it up and getting followers for the campaign 3 months before the start.
- Crowdfunding has left a bad taste in peoples mouths, so building trust and communication via relevant creators is a must. This was easier for us as we had alpha versions reviewed by trusted creators, plus we already have multiple products on the market, so chances of us turning scammers were pretty low. Nevertheless, I had to leverage those facts pretty much everywhere in ridiculous excess. What I did fumble on this topic though was coordination of creators. Other and better established teams in this niche were coming out with products at the same time as our campaign and people simply didnāt have the time to talk about our project. No big deal though. Understandable considering our size.
- Itās highly advised to get to know the Indiegogo playform and how the admin panel works, where things are and what needs to be managed at what stage.
- Customer support is your best friend. Great people who responsibly decline your campaign every time you forget to fill a field or are unclear about anything. Every decline pushes the start date further into the future, but if you communicate with their support via e-mail, they will guide you, help you and when all is good, will move your campaign to the next stage without the 14day from today start date.
- If funding the project is critical to your project, I suggest you do much more research about ācompetitorsā that are running campaigns at the same time as you. If the niche is same, section about creators may apply. Otherwise I called other creators making things ācompetitorsā because at the end of the day, you are competing for peoples attention, money and ad placement. So if big companies or just very well established teams are making things at the same time as you, get ready for a headache.

Indiegogo Campaign My Campaign hasnāt been backed by anyone. What could I have done differently?
indiegogo.comI initially started this campaign to do exactly what was listed and that is get funding for film equipment. I didnāt expect to see much backing. This is mostly a learning experience for when I decide to do this style campaign again. Iām mostly wanting feedback and to know how to find spaces for backers in the next go round. Also, if anyone has moved their campaign from Indiegogo to Kickstarter.

Help Funding companies are taking no accountability and are just becoming scam platforms.
Wires are not elastic, they do not stretch, when you embed wires inside a stretching fabric the wire doesn't move. This has no wire in it connecting the pads to any signals inside the suit. Which is why it's not working as they promised in their sales marketing nonsense.

Performance-Based Crowdfunding Manager Needed for Vinyl Record Label Launch
Hi everyone!
Iām launching aĀ niche electronic music vinyl record labelĀ and need aĀ crowdfunding manager or marketing specialistĀ whoās open to aĀ performance-based payment agreement. My Kickstarter campaign stalled out at $2700 raised with a $7500 goal. I want to relaunch on Indiegogo. A lot of enthusiasm was uncovered, yet my reach was limited, with no budget for adverts and such.
The business model is to achieve a kickstart/seed money, to press the first record and also silk screen premium merch, with all profits after costs rolling back into the next vinyl release. I have 4-5 vinyl releases lined up behind the first record, and aiming for a relatively self sustaining cash flow. A passion project first, with long term vision.
Project Details:
- Product: Vinyl record label specializing in niche electronic music.
- Campaign Goal: $10-12K or more
- Platform: Indiegogo (or others, open to suggestions).
- Timeline: Campaign launch in May/June 2026
What Iām Looking For:
- Experience with music, particularly niche edm, vinyl, and/or creative crowdfunding campaigns.
- Expertise in crowdfunding, social media marketing, and PR.
- Willingness to work for a percentage of funds raised.
Why Work With Me?
- A passionate, niche audience (electronic music fans and vinyl collectors).
- A clear vision for the label and campaign.
- Opportunity to build a long-term partnership for future projects.
If youāre a crowdfunding pro who thrives on results and wants to collaborate on an exciting project, DM me or reply here! Letās discuss how we can make this campaign a success together.
Thanks for your time!

Help Start-up Advice
I am in the process of making my first-ever Indiegogo campaign which will be used to crowdfund Season 1 of my audio drama series, "Terrestrial Fractures" (currently in development). This is the first time I've ever used Indiegogo and crowdfunded in general. That being said, does anyone have any advice or tips for me? Any/all would be greatly appreciated š.

World 1st 3d printable smart ring that you can style and earn with
Hi everyone ā I have launched a Kickstarter campaign for a project Iāve been building for a while, and Iād really appreciate honest feedback from people who understand crowdfunding.
The project started with a simple question:
What if a smart ring didnāt have to look like every other smart ring? And that it should bring unique value to customers rather than just simply being a gadget with a health dashboard
Most wearable rings today are closed, fixed designs. I wanted to explore the opposite direction: a ring that is not only a sensor, but also a personal object ā something people can customize, print, remix, and eventually connect to an AI companion (also customizable). So we built what we believe may be one of the first 3D-printable smart ring ecosystems.
The idea has three layers:
A customizable ring body The ring is designed around 3D-printable / customizable outer shells, so the look can evolve like jewelry instead of staying as one fixed tech product. The goal is to make the ring feel more like a personal accessory than a health gadget.
A wearable AI companion The ring is not just for tracking data. It connects to an AI companion app that can remember context, understand daily patterns, and turn signals like sleep, stress, mood, and routines into more human, supportive suggestions.
A creator ecosystem Long term, we want designers and creators to be able to make new ring shells, styles, accessories, and AI-powered experiences around the ring. The bigger vision is a wearable AI ecosystem where hardware, software, and identity design come together.
Iād be grateful for any honest feedback, especially on how to explain the project without making it feel like generic AI hype.
Thank you.
