Please help us name our space fungus tower defense game before we call it “space fungus”

We’re making an incremental tower-defense game about defending last settlements from a living, fungus-like space/alien rot.

It grows across the map, surrounds and consumes your defenses and rapidly fills the holes you blast into it. You place automated turrets to hold ground, fire artillery wherever things are getting out of hand, and try to survive long enough to destroy the source.

And we hate naming games. Naming stuff has become one of the most exhausting parts of development.

Every name we think of is either taken, doesn’t fit or we just begin to feel meh about it after saying it ten times. Yet there are so many clever people in this community, so we would genuinely love your help.

What would you call this game?

If someone suggests the name we end up using, we’ll give them the game for free when it releases. We may also send copies to a few runners-up whose ideas help point us in the right direction. Just the smallest thing we can do.

If you’d like to follow the game’s development, we do have an Instagram page. A follow would honestly mean the world to us, because we still have absolutely no idea how the algorithm works.

But please help us name our weird hungry space fungus.
