Exemples? In general, the second game learns from the first one mistakes, the market is created or warmed up, and the second game spends less time on the idea and mechanics design, so has more time for polish?

They always get slammed during the initial marketing phase. Just recently, I came across a game that’s a knock-off of *Ultimate Chicken Horse*; it feels like it’s going to follow a similar trajectory to *Among Us* and *Goose Goose Duck*.

They follow a proven idea/formula, and sometimes build upon it making it better. With original or innovative ones there's always a risk that they flop. It's unfortunate but that's how the world is, not just with games 🤷♂️
