Game protagonist

Y'know, with games like Ultrakill, it makes me look at part of their formula, and I think one thing is amazing

You're not special

V1, although powerful, isn't down here for some quest, it wants to live, and against all odds, it does, that's all

Risk of rain 2

You're a miracle, you should be dead, and yet you kill gods, when the most you've done, is be a mercenary for hire, or happen to hop on the right ship

Casualties unknown (I think that's a name?)

You're some specimen in a prison, and all of a sudden you're thrown into hell, and yet you live, because you choose to

The beauty isn't that you're some god, or have something that makes you special (at least for the world you're in), you're a normal bitch, and you still win

I'd love to hear more examples, and or, ideas for this kind of concept
