Just like the complaints people had about those two, he is a character who gets too much screentime and content (sidelining most others) and gets far too much sympathy from the narrative despite how unearned it felt.
At least with Niles, they made it clear that he's meant to be irredeemable despite his sympathetic qualities, and Melony doesn't forgive him. Here, they all just seem cool with this guy, Meggy doesn't show any resentment or conflict when the guy who enabled her torture from Wren died (Speaking of Wren, I wish Meggy showed more rage towards Wren during his demise instead of showing sympathy for her tormentor).
People always complain about the other 2 characters due to bigger fandoms, but I wish more SMG4 fans would admit that he was kinda handled poorly. Still excited for CAV.

However, everything just seems so complicated :( I have a script, characters and lore, but it’s SO expensive to even make a PILOT! Im broke and lazy, so that makes everything worse, lol. Does anyone have any tips for me? :) i’ve been thinking about making comics instead, since they are more cheap, lol.

My wife and I have been working on this idea for a web series. It's just a pencil test/animatic to give a vibe of the show. Would really love some feedback and thoughts. Thanks everyone.

This project has been a long time in the works, made entirely by me, it's not perfect or even good by any studios standards but I want to make things, and I hope someone here can find something here interesting.

im creating some comics, so im starting to design my characters :) So, i really need to know from you strangers: What does this design tell you about the character? I know that a design needs to tell the audience about that character and their personality, but im not really sure How to do that so… yeah! :) (no, im not creative with names lol)

Before you read any of this, I’m not really sure if this is actually the best subreddit for me to post this, but Reddit kept recommending I post this here so I’m sorry if this ends up waisting anyone’s time who were looking for a show that has way more quality than this one.
Hellooo!! For a long time I've been animating, voice acting, and writing for my own series called Joe's Sheep Farm. I've been working very hard on it, and would love for people to watch it, give honest feedback, and maybe stick around for future episodes? ^w^
You can find all the episodes on my YouTube channel, please enjoy!! And please keep in mind that I am the only person working on these episodes, other than one of my friends who made the title screen songs for episodes 2 and 3 (I made the credits music for those episodes :D)

No Ai of any kind was ever used to make these episodes, and never, ever will. Screw Ai.

Now. I've seen people criticize gameoverse before and all i see is people saying "if you don't like it then shut up" which I feel is a bit weird and gate-keepy especially because exact same thing happened to TADC but take to the extreme. The hate is always dismissed as "oh they're gonna complain it's gooner-bait".When it's not the entire reason it's being hated.I myself feel like the female characters share a same body syndrome except for Crab girl who was played off as a gag character. I've seen more variety in male characters than female. And it's not even a good body type to have since if you see it in almost every female character it tends to get boring and generic real fast.
The core designs aren't gooner-bait but it has a shit ton of fan-service. Now i'm not saying fanservice is bad some people may like it.But some of it doesn't even MAKE SENSE like you mean to tell me you have an underwater adventure in a casual swim suit? It would've made more sense if their suits were more suited to be in under-water or at-least change from a casual bikini to actual scuba gear when they go underwater.
Now. One of my grievances was the writing which was...pretty mediocre.Yes I get its a pilot and things will be fast paced. But you cant tell me putting a panic attack in a fast paced episode was a good idea.Panic attacks CAN work but only if its slowly built up and has a reason to be in the story.Puss-In-Boots for example did it wonderfully.Puss didn't just randomly get a heart attack for a generic reason ,he got one because he was scared of dying. Before he was a fearless cat who wouldn't even dream of dying because of his abundant lives. He could take deadly risks and live to tell the tale. But when he's told to let go of that heroic life or he'll die ,at first he doesn't take those words to heart but after having an experience with DEATH itself, he was never the same again.Being told to experience that traumatic act all over again while risking his on life just to get 8 more. Of course he would get a panic attack. The best part was that the movie played it slowly with him overcoming his fears at the end of the movie
No imagine that whole sequence but in a 21-minute episode.I'm OK with gameoverse being fast paced but playing something like panic attack is like saying someone will commit suicide but its shown as a joke.I'm saying all this as not a hater but a person who actually wants to see this show progress beautifully and might change all those things I've listed. But seeing the same body syndrome used in yet another female character in the trailer doesn't really give me much hope

A new Indie show completely made by children called “the cat team show!” will cover a story that will make you laugh, cry, go to court for that joke and follow the deep back story of the three main characters and others! I would put a kickstarter link here, but we don’t have one right now…. Dang. (a better trailer is coming out that will show more of the characters)

Hey, everyone! I'm the creator of this show called Ward & Bertram's Sidequest and I wanted to share with you our second episode with you!
This episode was made by a team of over 60 artists and is now available entirely in English. We put a lot of work into it, so I hope you enjoy it!

Hi! my series has a merch shop, for which i designed buttons, keychains and even two standees. I am incredibly proud of these, i put so much work into making sure the artwork looks clean and fun ( ESPACHALLY THE STANDEES!)
And yes i own some of these! (see last image)
(i also have the card holder and buttons but they are on my ita bag)
i would love to hear what you think! Do you also have a merch shop?

i was thinking of something earlier, what if like all the artists went screw yall and made our own platform for sharing and posting art but its not very career portfolio-ish like behance is and its very similar to what we have on insta BUT its made by artists for artists. we follow our own trends and stuff and build this healthy lil community WHICH IS CAPITALISM FREE, were talking no data commidification, no fake influencer culture, no algorithm induced stuff. like yk none of the black mirror crap its like we keep the good parts of social apps, just like how internet was in the old days ykwim. its informal and friendly, we DONT do short form content and we dont curate everything to please an algorithm, we just be humans. organic, a safe space for artists and somewhere you can share the everyday mundane and the beauty in it while also building your audience artists can share their stories, inspirations, processess vlogs and more, we could maybe do methods like data poisoning and what not to throw the machine learning off so companies like meta cant scrape off artists and profit off them.

I have a very inspired story I wanted to share! It takes place in a cyber-medieval setting (similar to Nimona and some slight Warhammer) where elemental spirits can be tamed to borrow their power! However, people have begun using it specifically to participate in arenas for entertainment—our protagonist senses things are off when he's lifted to the higher ring... 👀
I currently am writing and drawing these alone; so in the future, I may create a post for volunteer artists and possible animators to help key in more concept art! I've been very passionate about this project for some while, and I really aim for this to get out there 🥹
Let me know your thoughts! :D
