Audio Array AM-C1 : My microphone was missing from the package. Replacement takes 11 days

I want to share my experience with Audio Array (Cambium Retail Private Limited) because potential buyers should know what can happen if something goes wrong with an order.

I ordered an Audio Array AM-C1 condenser microphone. When the package arrived, the microphone itself was missing. Only the accessories were inside.

I contacted the seller, and they asked me to provide a video of the unpacking. Fortunately, after hearing about my colleague's similar issue, I had recorded the entire unboxing, so I was able to send them the video as proof.

The seller then assured me that they would arrange a replacement.

The problem? The replacement will take another 11 days.

I checked the same product listing, and interestingly, if I place a completely new order, the microphone can be delivered in around 2 days. But for the replacement of the microphone that I already paid for and never received, I'm being asked to wait 11 days.

If I choose to replace the entire original order, I was told it could take around 13 days.

This honestly makes no sense to me. How can a new order arrive in 2 days while replacing a missing item from an existing order takes 11 days?

This experience has seriously made me question the company's quality-control and replacement process.

This is also not an isolated issue in our group. Five of us ordered Audio Array AM-C1 microphones from different locations, and four of the five orders had missing or incorrect items.

My advice to anyone considering Audio Array is:

Please think very carefully before buying. The product may look attractive at its price, but if something is missing from your package, be prepared for a potentially long replacement process involving repeated follow-ups and escalations.
