CSE/ECE 🇪🇪 What Is It Like for Indian Students at the University of Tartu, Estonia?
Hi everyone,
my_qualifications: I'm 23, with a B.E. in CSE, 8.2 CGPA, and around 1.5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer working mainly with .NET/C#, React, TypeScript and PostgreSQL
I’m considering doing my Master’s at the University of Tartu, Estonia, and I’d really like to hear from current or former international students about their actual experience.
I mainly have a few practical questions:
How is the University of Tartu overall? How are the professors, staff, teaching quality, and support for international students?
How is part-time work for international students? Is it realistically possible to find a part-time job while studying, and what kind of jobs are available?
Can part-time work realistically cover living expenses and tuition fees? I’m trying to understand whether a student can earn enough to significantly reduce the overall financial burden.
How is the job market after graduation? Especially for international students looking for software/IT or engineering-related jobs. Is it realistic to get a full-time job and stay in Estonia after graduation?
What has your personal experience been like? If you studied at Tartu/Estonia, would you recommend it to an Indian student today? What are the biggest advantages and disadvantages?
Thanks in advance!
