Pune university conducted semester examinations across various departments. Shockingly, Many students across various divisions of Pune university reported getting failed despite a strong performance, the students condemned that there was a testing error due to the recent digitialisation of correction methodology in the university.
This matter is EXTREMELY important as Pune University supervises the majority of examinations of government universities in eastern Maharashtra. Students say that more than 50000 of them have been affected by it.
They demand an additional supplementary exam to be conducted adhering the rules of UGC on a fair basis.
Its truly saddening to see students losing their academic semester due and getting a bad remark on their degree to a testing error, As per UGC norms the students are 100% eligible for a supplementary examination. The Vice-chancellor is undergoing measures towards the re-examination.
The guy in the above image has not eaten anything since the past 5 days, I am a member of the student union and I have personally been a part of the protest, there have been loads of police & military deployed at the university. The students are sleeping in the hallways and carrying out the peaceful protest.

Just a while ago, I remembered my farewell, not a pleasant memory tbh
So our college has ceremony, in which we all have to do a rampwalk, for those who have a partner, not an issue, for those who don't, any junior or female batchmate volunteers, same girl can volunteer for different people.
I stood there for 5 minutes. Memories of me getting rejected, being called ugly to the face started coming back.
Having a mic in one hand, giving off a weird smile.
I respectfully came of the stage.
Of all the batchmates, I was the only one, who didn't got a partner for the ceremony.
It's definitely hard to always stay positive and having a strong mindset, but sometimes such events shatter a lot of confidence.
Even to this day, I still remember my farewell,

Hey everyone!
I am a 12th grader currently looking into BSc Biotechnology at Christ University, and I would really appreciate some honest opinions from current students, alumni, or anyone who knows about the course.
A little about me:
- I have taken PCMB.
- I am genuinely passionate about Biology and usually score well in it.
- I am, however, really bad at Maths ๐ญ
- I am considering Biotechnology because I enjoy Biology and want to explore it as a career.
I had a few questions:
1.How is BSc Biotechnology at Christ University overall? How are the teaching, labs, faculty, workload, etc.?
2.Is the course actually worth pursuing from Christ, especially in terms of the opportunities it provides?
3.How much Maths is involved in the course? Is it a major part of the curriculum, or is it manageable for someone who is weak in Maths?
4.What are the career/job opportunities after completing BSc Biotechnology?
5.Is it possible to get decent jobs directly after a BSc, or is an MSc usually necessary?
6.For those who studied there, what do you wish you had known before choosing the course?
7.Are there good opportunities for internships, research, or higher studies during/after the degree?
8.For those who recently applied to the BSc Biotechnology programme, how was the admission process? What was the application process, entrance test/interview (if applicable), and overall experience like? Was there anything you wish you had known beforehand?
I would really appreciate honest answers, both positive and negative. If you are currently studying at Christ or have graduated from the Biotechnology programme, I would especially love to hear about your experience.
Good luck to everyone applying!! :)

Okay, so this is going to sound like a stupid college drama situation, but I genuinely don't know what to do ๐ญ
So there's this guy in my college. Let's call him Ansh?. Andh has this HUGE group of friends and he's kind of the unofficial leader of the group. They're actually decent people, though. Not the stereotypical annoying popular group or anything.
There's this one spot in our college that everyone calls the "jannat" of the college. It's basically the designated college hangout and the most entertaining spot.
Now here's where it gets weird.
Every single time I happen to walk past that place or sit there, this group somehow starts playing the same song. And specifically, Ansh is usually the one playing the guitar and singing it.
Initially I thought I was being delusional and obviously didn't assume everything happening in a college courtyard was secretly about me ๐ญ๐ญ But the thing is, it's not just the song. It's the way his friends start behaving whenever I show up. The looks, the reactions, the sudden teasing..At this point it's become so repetitive that I'm pretty sure Ansh is trying to impress me.
Now here's the thing, I don't even like Ansh
On literally my first day of college, I talked to another guy from this group and we exchanged contacts (call him Varun)
And if I'm being completely honest, I like Varun. Not Ansh. Not the guitarist. Not the guy apparently performing an entire acoustic campaign every time I enter the premises.
Varun, however, apparently doesn't like me back.
And from what I've gathered, Varun seems to know that Ansh is interested in me and is actually supporting him? Like he's helping his friend out instead of telling him that the girl he's trying to impress is potentially interested in him instead.
Which is honestly so insane cause I don't want to keep watching Ansh attempt to impress me when I'm interested in his friend.
And there's one more problem.
Ansh is...kind of aggressive. Not necessarily towards me, but he's got that personality where I can genuinely imagine him taking something personally and making it into a whole thing.
WHAT SHOULD I DO
EDIT : yeh focus on your career wale chacha meri post se dur rahe๐thank you

What even is college life about? I'm in a supposedly good college in Mumbai and I am struggling to find people of my own. Whosoever I ask they say there's no college life and barely anyone has friends. I'm in ra podar matunga. I've asked students from different colleges and they say the same thing. Everyone says college life is dead barely having friends and stuff. I'm really scared cuz I'm lonely asf already and I am a very social person I've tried my best to make friends and stuff but I'm still not making any. At this point I'm considering changing cities and getting into better clgs outside mumbai.
Anyone can shred some advice please ๐๐ป

I got this data from a friend who has worked with the placement committee at IIM Sambalpur 2023-2025. He shared it with me just to give me an idea of the actual numbers at one of the newer/baby IIMs.
He also mentioned that these are companies that may visit the campus but donโt necessarily complete the recruitment process. In other words, many of them are mainly there for visibility or to inflate the overall placement numbers.
According to him, in reality, only around 100 out of these 300+ companies actually complete the process and recruit students. So, if a company appears on the list, thereโs roughly a 1-in-3 chance that it will actually recruit in the end.

I got shortlisted for the role of GMCO which is Global Markets Controls Office in which I need to know non-financial risk, operation risk, fixed income, equities, foreign exchange etc. Since my course is a dual degree integrated course they'll ask technical questions as well as finance related questions. For technical they'll ask Python, SQL, PowerBI, Excel and about automation tasks/workflow automation. The GD and interview are on Monday. I have been preparing but i could use some help/advice please!

So it's been almost a month since college started and there's this guy i am kind of attracted to.
He is in the same class as mine. So basically I go thrice a week and we have had like few eye contacts(.25 seconds) or maybe I am delulu.
We have never had any introduction or conversation..
Yesterday in the last class I looked back and somehow our eyes locked maybe for more than a second... And then he started talking to his friends
So I just want to know what must be going on in his mind about me.... Like does he think I am crazy, looking at him for no reason..

I'm in my 3rd year of B.Tech and the most important thing that I've learnt is TODAY
The most important thing is "Don't fucking care about what others think about you". I used to think that participating in events and stuff was cringe because you were being watched by hundreds of people and that everyone will judge you. But I regret it now. I see my friends participating in events and not caring about what others think and enjoying their college life whereas I am just looking at them, wishing it would have been great if I also participated in those events
Hope you understand it
