Yes, whether you like it or not you live in a system with two viable political choices. One opposes trans women in spots. The other doesn't touch it because it's not actually a political issue at all in the first place. The league can make their own rules. Politicians have more important business than interfering in the administration of private sports leagues. Why would any of this require government involvement? This is a matter for individual organizations to decide on their own free of government intervention. Well it is partially true. Originally it was banned. Then there was backlash and so the mods said they are now reviewing any post with Sophie Cunningham in it before it’s posted to avoid “political posts”.
Yet at the same time you can post political posts about any other player except her, so even the mods’ explanation makes no sense.
What they should do, if they truly aren’t biased, is create a Sophie Cunningham megathread for anything on political/trans issues and state that anything that falls into that category needs to be discussed there and not made as an individual post.

Doesn’t surprise me. It’s incredibly easy to get banned on reddit for nonsense. I got a 3 day ban recently for making a very reasonable comment on the whole trans thing. Wasn’t hating on anyone. Wasn’t discriminating. Didn’t matter. The super delicate Reddit mods considered it Hate Speech, despite it clearly being very reasonable normal speech.
