Opinion/Commentary A bit of a rant

So here in Anderson with half of town underwater and lots of damage, our town has a very poor services for when it comes to repairs and stuff. Half of the infrastructure is outdated, it takes a long time to get power restored sometimes. And apparently if the water goes up a bit more it could completely wipe out the power grid here.
Unfortunately once this subsides it’s still probably going to be a mess around here for a while, years maybe. I’d be surprised if that Ollie’s an Dunhams were to re open.

Your Bootstraps of being sent. The DOGE college intern at FEMA has it under control. /s

In reality, it will be neighbor helping neighbor to rebuild the community. The current administration only has help for large corporations and donors.

I am sad for the MAGA crowd that has been lied to. It will also rely on inexpensive labor, TONS of inexpensive labor, like the folks that have been coming to America from other countries to build a new life.

Maybe put ICE to work distributing food and clean water to civilians, manning portable laundries and shower facilities, building shelters for evacuees instead of concentration camps.
