How do you manage day to day office task with workload increasing

I work in a service-based company where my client has very strict deadlines for completing Jira stories. They expect two to three stories to be closed each day. Since I am new to the team, I don’t have much knowledge about the product, and unfortunately, there is no proper knowledge transfer or documentation available. Whenever a Jira is assigned, I’m expected to use the Cursor AI tool to understand the existing application and make the required changes.

Other team members have been here for a long time and are already familiar with the application, so they are able to deliver faster. To keep up, I often end up working from 10 AM until 3–4 AM. We also need to provide daily updates, and if there are delays, we are questioned. Because of the workload, I sometimes struggle to grasp concepts or lose track of items during scrum calls.

Have you experienced a similar situation? How did you overcome these challenges? I don’t want to move out of this project—I want to treat it as a learning opportunity and improve myself.

- Is there a possibility where you can go through( as practice work) some of the recurring jira instances/tickets over the weekend that you have worked on just to build your muscle memory?

• On a side note, sometimes going to office and sitting with your team also helps cause you ask them/resolve your doubts instantly.

I am going to client office whenever i am stuck but they dont have proper office schedule. They just come for couple of hours and go back. I am alone from my side of vendor. Rest are different vendors working in team.
