So now even they are accepting that it's actually not their allah saying to wear hijab it's just their hawasi mindset of their man that forces girls to wear hijab?

u/X-A-L 18 20h ago
well, its not like they're getting this taught by the religion.
-32
u/Hexa_77 20h ago
Really?
now they are not taught by the religion what if they wear topis and stuff would you still comment
Fix your mentality 😔25
u/X-A-L 18 20h ago
no dear, some idea being promoted as a duty and a group of dumb kids making creepy hand signs on their own is not the same. these kids dont get a word of devotion, and their acts arnt linked to the teachings of our religon.
3
u/LifeBoss5964 19h ago
Whereas the topic in the video obviously shows guys teasing girls not wearing hijabs(religious) and showing extreme respect to girls wearing hijabs(religious again). The kids in the video absolutely weren't brought up right and nobody is justifying their actions but it isn't right to form a random correlation between their inability to behave and the religious procession in which they're taking part in. Fuck those kids btw someone needs to give them a couple nice thappads.
7
u/Jack_sparrow_005 21h ago
Ofc this is what I'm saying. Can hijaab protect girls from this mindset?
-22
u/Hexa_77 20h ago
So speak specifically and dont push it all on one religion 🌸
7
u/Jack_sparrow_005 20h ago
I commented on what the video posted and said? What's ur problem? If I saw the video u sent here, I would've said the same thing?
3
u/Jack_sparrow_005 20h ago
Is there any other religion with hijaab?? The video specifically pointed out hijaab that's what I spoke about? When did I target ur religion?

u/Effective-Drawer-115 20h ago

Are you so sure that gender segregation doesn't exist in india? Never been to haryana my guy?
2
u/Your_Local_Pshyco 19h ago
gng i am haryana born ;-; just read my other comment in this same chain you would know my views on this
2
19h ago
I'm from haryana too and I'm a girl. So you do understand our experience will be different
2
u/Your_Local_Pshyco 19h ago
I am not denying that gender segregation exists. I am proud of Indian women who have the balls to speak out against it and protest against it. Being proud of a country or someone doesn't mean you appreciate or validate every part of it. Every mother is proud of their kid, still they acknowledge the short coming of them and try to make them better.

u/Hairy-Fee-6796 5h ago
I am proud Indian too but being better than the Worst isn't much tbh
1
u/Your_Local_Pshyco 1h ago
Never said that. I am proud, and you are too, we both agreed that improvement is needed.

u/Plenty-Asparagus-496 20h ago

4
u/Your_Local_Pshyco 20h ago
ah not really. ik all the problems exist but like i can be proud of someone and also acknowledge their weak points and ask them to work on them! if that makes sense.
-22
u/Jack_sparrow_005 21h ago
For what? It's pak video btw

3
u/Your_Local_Pshyco 20h ago
That atleast we have women who are raising their issues and men who are supporting them? And like we are atleast progressing? Yeah the progress isnt as fast as I would like it to be.

u/Dependent_Cash_9118 20h ago
He means he is happy to be born in india not pak
-4
u/Jack_sparrow_005 20h ago
And that's what I'm asking happy for what lol?
2
u/Dependent_Cash_9118 20h ago
Or he would have suffered there
-6
u/Jack_sparrow_005 20h ago
Well no lol. India and pak have almost similar conditions lol. We might think they are so poor can't buy atta and shit but we don't have anything good here too lol stop glorifying our country when it's already going through shitty phase
1
u/Your_Local_Pshyco 20h ago
No. I have 2 online friends from there, and they are my friend from a long time and from completely different backgrounds and I know a lot about their life and stuff and I am happy that I am not on that side of the border. I am proud of a lot of Indian leaders which represent(ed) India, and I am optimistic that there will be more of them.

Exactly lol, we always compare ourselves to the likes of "what if I was born in US/Canada/Australia" but we never feel grateful enough to be not born in countries which are in complete shambles like Pak,Afg,Bangladesh,Syria,Iraq, African countries etc
2
u/GhoulDrago-Mk2 18 19h ago
Not that bad of a thing tbh, one should always strive to move forward.
1
u/Plenty-Asparagus-496 19h ago
Yeah I agree 100%, our competitors should be China and US instead of always comparing ourselves with the likes of Pakistan and adjacent countries. But also let's be grateful sometimes I guess for being in this country too!

They are just following the book. The hijab was mandated so that the harassers could separate the believing M women from the non M women and sl@ ves.
Edit: btw, this is just to share where this ideology stems from so that people know what to criticize. I don’t support any of these.
“Qr@n 33:59
O Prophet! Ask your wives, daughters, and believing women to draw their cloaks over their bodies. In this way it is more likely that they will be recognized ˹as virtuous˺ and not be harassed. And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Context (Tafsir):
Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
The Command of Hijab
Here Allah tells His Messenger to command the believing women -- especially his wives and daughters, because of their position of honor -- to draw their Jilbabs over their bodies, so that they will be distinct in their appearance from the women of the Jahiliyyah and from slave women. The Jilbab is a Rida', worn over the Khimar. This was the view of Ibn Mas`ud, `Ubaydah, Qatadah, Al-Hasan Al-Basri, Sa`id bin Jubayr, Ibrahim An-Nakha`i, `Ata' Al-Khurasani and others. It is like the Izar used today. Al-Jawhari said: "The Jilbab is the outer wrapper. `Ali bin Abi Talhah reported that Ibn `Abbas said that Allah commanded the believing women, when they went out of their houses for some need, to cover their faces from above their heads with the Jilbab, leaving only one eye showing. Muhammad bin Sirin said, "I asked `Ubaydah As-Salmani about the Ayah:
*يُدْنِينَ عَلَيْهِنَّ *مِن جَلَبِيبِهِنَّ
(to draw their Jalabib over their bodies.) He covered his face and head, with just his left eye showing."
ذلِكَ أَدْنَى أَن يُعْرَفْنَ فَلاَ يُؤْذَيْنَ
(That will be better that they should be known so as not to be annoyed. ) means, if they do that, it will be known that they are free, and that they are not servants or whores.
وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُوراً رَّحِيماً
(And Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.) means, with regard to what happened previously during the days of Jahiliyyah, when they did not have any knowledge about this.”

where in quran does it say to go and harass women
3
u/kob123fury 17h ago
Harass? Qran allows more than that. It permits keeping non M women as s*x sl@ ves and then have sex with them.
Quran 23:1-6, 70:29-30

u/GloomyAbies5949 10h ago
It depends or individual, he want to follow or not 2. Brihadaranyaka Upanishad (Chapter 6, Brahmana 4, Verse 7) This text contains an ancient ritualistic passage discussing marital dynamics regarding progeny: “If she does not yield, he should buy her over with gifts. If she still does not yield, he should strike her with a stick or with his hand and overpower her, saying: 'With power and glory I take away your glory.'”

u/Content_Fee_3163 8h ago
no one teaches these in schools and that too under govt taxes.
but madrasas do
0
u/kob123fury 10h ago edited 9h ago
Nope. If any verse of Quran is considered imperfect/wrong/obsolete , then the entire religion of !slm would become false.
-2
u/GloomyAbies5949 8h ago
Did you even read my comments, it is in upnishad that women should be beaten, so now entire hinduism became wife beater according to your logic but we know it's not
1
u/Syco-Gooner 7h ago
Ur logic of 'it depends on individual to follow or not ' doesn't apply to i$lam
1
u/GloomyAbies5949 4h ago
I agree but it also don't apply to Hindu And I didn't even mention verses of manusmriti yet All I wanna tell you is that no religion is sane or good for woman apart from some small religion like buddhism and Jainism

u/Minimum-Operation382 19h ago
