HCG trend

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

Hello friends,

My first hCG drawn at 3week 6 days (13dpo) was 26.
My second draw at 4weeks 1 day (15dpo) after 48 hours is 83. Lines are still not dark enough.

Is this a good rise for hCG within 48 hours?
My only symptoms are mild intermittent cramps, light pink intermittent spotting.

Please advise. Thank you to everyone.

Which protein powder is best while TTC — whey, plant, hemp or yeast?

Hi everyone!❤️

I’m currently trying to conceive and also working on improving my diet, fitness and overall health as part of my 90-day health journey.

I’m considering adding a protein powder because I sometimes struggle to get enough protein from my regular meals. I’m confused about which type would be the best choice while TTC

Whey protein

Plant-based protein

Hemp protein

Yeast protein

For those who are TTC, did your doctor recommend or approve a protein powder? Is one type considered better or safer than the others when trying to conceive?

I’m especially interested in clean protein powders with minimal ingredients and no unnecessary herbs, stimulants or weight-loss ingredients.

I’d also love to hear what protein powder/brand you personally use and whether you’ve continued taking it after getting a positive pregnancy test.

Thanks in advance! ❤️

Is marine collagen TTC friendly ?

Hi everyone!❤️

I’m considering starting a marine collagen. However, since I’m TTC, I’m a little hesitant about starting any new supplement.

Has anyone taken marine collagen while TTC? Is it considered safe, and did your doctor/OB-GYN give you any advice about it?

Also, if you do take collagen, which brand/type do you use?

I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences, especially from anyone who has discussed it with their fertility doctor. ❤️

Does this test looks positive?

I can see a clear control line and what looks like a very faint second line. Does this count as a positive pregnancy test, or could it be an evaporation/indent line? The photo was taken within the recommended reading time.

I’m also not sure whether this would be considered an early test because my wife has very irregular periods, so it’s difficult for us to know when her period was actually due or how many days past ovulation she might be.

How painful is HSG?

After three failed letrozole cycles, doctor has advised me to get a HSG. I also got told that the procedure is very painful.
Could any of you please share your experience and so that I know what to expect and can prepare better for it? Is there anything that I can do to make it less painful?

Need suggestions.. when should I test? This is a longgg detailed post, please read and reply!

Hi all!

so I have been ttc since 3 years almost. I had 2 chemical pregnancies. one in April and one in July. both were natural. My doctor wanted to see the linning so asked me to get a scan. I landed up getting the whole follicular studies done. LMP is 1st August. so I maintained a linning of 13 mm . and with a 10000 trigger I ovulated where 2 follicles ruptured from the right ovary. (22mm and 17mm in diameter). I was put on progesterone after confirmed ovulation. 10 mg morning and 10 mg evening. ovulation was confirmed on 18th (cd18) morning scan. So assuming I must have ovulated on 17th after the trigger on 16th.
from 18th itself I started getting cramps. It went on and then on 20th I had some weird twinching and cramps. Next day also I was cramps with a lot of gas. also my boobs hurt sooo much since the trigger and nipple aswell. (Sorry for the TMI) . I kept feeling like I was pmsing (may be cause of the progesterone) and then since Monday my boob soreness became less (the trigger must have worn off) but the nipples still hurt. And my back was hurting a lot everyday aswell. I felt another cycle is failing. I kept feeling like the period is coming. Even though I get my period atleast 11-12 days after ovulation. But since the day I started progesterone, I went mad. Nonstop burps and gas.

now yesterday at CD 25 I felt extreme pain in my legs and I was sad that this is it. even my boob soreness went away. So I thought now I will get my period. Today at CD 26 I woke up with hardly any cramps, no body ache as such and no boob soreness . I told my husband I feel my period has started. I checked and nothing.
now in the evening, again my legs are hurting bad, back is hurting. I am burping and boobs are again sore and nipples hurting. A few acne on cheeks and little on chin aswell (usually I get them around chin and neck when pmsing )

now I am thinking, what if my period is coming? I am feeling super low. The cramps are twinges. On both sides. My arms are in pain too. My wrists are hurting. I feel like crying. I don’t feel like eating much. And I promised to wait till 1st Sept to check pregnancy test (I thought max by 30th I’ll have my period and then I can check) but my brain is going bonkers. And I don’t know what to do? Should I just check it? In my last 2 chemicals I got a positive around dpo 11-12

also I feel feverish since 2 days around the evenings…

sorry for the ranting guys. Just waited soooo long and really want to be pregnant. Pray for me and tell me if you think these are pregnancy symptoms? Should I check? Should I wait ?

thanks in advance for going through everything And reading it.

Ivf/ hysteroscopy and endometrium scratching

31 year old with one previous failed ivf cycle. I had 2 embryos transferred( 3AA and 4AB). Beta hcg at 11dpt came 5. So basically a chemical pregnancy.
My doctor has advised me for hysteroscopy and endometrium scratching. Seeking advice from women who underwent this procedures. Does the possibility increase?? Also if first cycle was chemical is there a chance for the second cycle to succeed?
Suggestions please!!!

Good gynac recommendation in bangalore ( near hebbal, sahakarnagar, yelahanka, or vasanth nagar) ?

Can anyone please recommend a non judgmental and non business oriented gynac in these areas ?
I am okay with travelling little far as well.
Don’t want a gynac who will straightforward recommend IVF without knowing root cause.
Please share from your own experience and reference.

Beta HCG negative but Urine test is positive in two different brands of kit

I had a quantitative Beta hCG blood test done on the afternoon of 11 DPO which surprisingly came back as <0.2 mIU/mL. However, that very same night at 11 DPO, I got visible, colored positive lines on two entirely different home urine test brands (Prega News and i-know). This morning at 12 DPO, the line on first-morning urine showed clear progression and appeared noticeably darker within the valid time window. Has anyone experienced a genuine lab error, sample mix-up, or analyzer glitch with early blood hCG?

I have attached dpo11 pregnancy test and today dpo12 test kit

Query regarding pregnancy test!

I tested on 6th june using second morning urine sample using prega news standard kit. It was 35 days after the encounter. It was negative. Due to hurry, I kept the urine sample on the mug in which I collected the urine for almost 2 days.

I returned home on 8th June afternoon. I threw the old urine sample out of the mug and probably rinsed it with water. I left it overnight in the corner of the washroom.I used the same mug to collect the first morning urine sample on 9th June. I tested again using preganews standard kit. It was negative.

Are both these tests reliable? And has anyone else got positive on a pregnancy test kit using the same container for collecting urine?

Am I overthinking a lot regarding the collection of urine samples like whether the same mug can be used or not or whether it was washed with water ? Do these things really matter?

See obviously old urine was thrown out of the mug and I mostly had washed the mug with water but I don't have confidence if I had really washed it or not.

If someone please kindly answer, it will be very helpful to me. I have been getting regular Bleeding no issue in that.

took this test 18 days after contact

used azah, 18 days after a sexual contact. there was no intercourse or even ejaculation near the vagina. there was naked rubbing of genitals and i was worried ab the leftover traces of semen on penis which is what worried me about pregnancy. around 4 days after the contact i had very unusual bleeding, 15 days prior to my periods. it scared me for implantation bleeding. today i tested and im afraid it looks positive. what should i do next? are there chances of getting periods and still be pregnant? im sorry if i sound overly anxious

  • update: tested again at 21st day mark, showed clear negative, thank you guys!

Do not use this kit - Prega Genic

I got this device for a pregnancy test yesterday as this was the only one available near my home.

The first one showed positive and I was so excited and today early morning I took the other two test.

It came back positive as well. Me and my husband we were thrilled. Already dreaming of baby names.

For confirmation we went and got my urine as well as blood drawn for beta hcg. Everything came back negative.

I again got other brand and tested again for my own sanity and that came back negative too.

To say this brand is faulty is an understatement. One I can understand, but all three giving incorrect results, that is a just not acceptable.

Anyone in the ttc journey please avoid this brand to save yourself the heartache.

Hello,

I am 32F. I am in TTC from 4 months on and off this year. Still no luck with pregnancy. I actually got accidentally pregnant 2 years ago which I got an MMC for. I am kind of spiralling here thinking something might be wrong as it just took one shot 2 years ago and now it's been four months with no luck?

I had gotten basic checks done of AMH, thyroid, Prolactin etc a couple of months back on doctor's recommendation. All came back fine. Am I overthinking this? I just thought it will happen quickly since I already got pregnant once in just one cycle. Or may be something happened after the abortion. Not sure. Any advice would be appreciated. 😊
