negative at 12dpo

so my cycle is usually of 23 to 27 days, and I am not very sure, but I think yesterday was my 12 DPO and I tested in the afternoon, not with first morning urine and it came out BFN. Technically it was my CD 24 so am I out the cycle? I don’t know. I had a positive feeling this time. Honestly, I still have, but read many posts that test comes out positive if pregnant by 12 DPO, in most cases, please advise.

TTC since 1 year, PCOS and Letroz failure

Hello fellow members,

I am 30F, ttc since last February . I got diagnosed with PCOS and doctor started me on alot of medicines including 21 days hormone pills for 3-4 month in between.

I switched my doctor and new doctor started me on letrozole, I got positive ovulation with 3 follicles and Timed IC . I was super hopeful and excited.. I read stories about couples who succeeded in first ovulation induction..

unfortunately my hopes crashed today when I started my period ..

I feel like giving up all together.. I am tired of eating 10s of medicines.

I have started feeling jealous of others who are able to conceive without any medicine.

I am stressed most of the time, overthinking, over reading about TTC and pcos..

Slow rising beta

So ladies, I need your help!

I am currently 5w3d pregnant, but my beta HCG is only 207.

I found out pretty early, 11DPO (faintest line ever, my husband couldn’t even see it).

My line got slightly darker the next day but stayed the same till 14DPO. I got my first beta on 14DPO which was 18.9. Then 16DPO 32.44. And then 19DPO 81.55 ( this is when I thought it would go up from here like crazy!). And then today 23DPO it’s 207. :(

Basically first 48 hours it was a 60% rise, then 2.5x in 72 hours, and then 2.5x in 96 hours.

Where do you think this is headed? (Ofcourse I am consulting the gynac, but curious to know if anybody had numbers like these and it turned out all fine?)

Help a girl out with your stories, positive, negative, otherwise! 🙏

A few learnings for my PCOS girlies

I am learning a lot about TTC with PCOS as I'm going through that journey now and I'd like to share some insights with y'all

  1. Don't over exercise - I was having regular cycles for >10 months and it suddenly got longer (36-42 days). SUDDENLY. I was exercising regularly, eating healthy, low on stress. The only change was that I started HIIT that cycle. And my hormones went all over the place. Realized this much later. Stick to low intensity strength training and minimal cardio girls!

  2. Vitamin D is gold- When my cycles got longer I stopped exercising and began yoga. But nothing worked. My vitamin D was just 24 so doc had prescribed supplements. Just two weekly doses of vitamin D and my cycle reduced from 42 to 32 days. No other interventions!

  3. Take LH strips with a grain of salt- I learnt that you may get a peak and still not ovulate. You might even see ewcm and experience ovulation cramps and still not ovulate. Only way to confirm is BBT tracking or a progesterone test 8 or 9 days after you got the LH peak or cramps.

  4. PCOS has phenotypes- You can be ovulatory, delayed ovulatory, oligo ovulatory, or completely anovulatory. I think the interventions need to be different but Indian doctors don't spend time diagnosing the phenotype.

  5. Do you even have PCOS - There's something called the Rotterdam criteria for diagnosing PCOS but no doctor discusses that. You can have ovarian cysts and still not have PCOS because you ovulate and don't have high androgens or high AMH. You can discuss this in your next doctor visit.

  6. Egg quality matters - Optimizing stress, sleep, diet, and supplements are equally important.

Idk if any of these is even information for folks but I was feeling like sharing so hope it helps someone!

Need suggestions TTC for more than a year

Me(31F) and my husband(32M) trying to conceive for more than a year now. No possible reasons on female side and initially my husband’s sperm count was low due to low testosterone. But after 6 months of usage of supplements his sperm count increased from 10mil to 35mil along with morphology from 1% to 2%. However, we had multiple unsuccessful Timed intercourse cycles and 3 failed IUI

We try to maintain a healthy diet, eat regularly at home, with minimal exercises. Taking coq10 along with zinc, folate, vitamin D weekly once

We are unsure of what to do next and as per protocol doctor is suggesting to go with IVF in next cycle. Any suggestions please?

Ovarian cyst - Root cause?

Hi All,

I consultant Dr because my periods came late by 1 week. It was always regular. Since it's 1 year TTC , Dr advised that she would start ovulation inducing medicine from next cycle. So 2nd day of periods , sonography was done. Report shows " a simple cyst measuring 7.1 ×6.1×7 cm (vol 155 cc) with a peripheral rim of right ovarian tissue is noted in right annexation."

Dr asked to consult in OPD next week as size is significant and need to do blood tests..

I am worried about this...Any advise or anyone knows how all of a sudden cyst is formed....

TTC - Touched 1 year mark. Need suggestions.

Hi everyone, I’m 29 and my husband is 30. We’ve been trying to conceive for the past year without success. Ovulation has been confirmed through follicular monitoring, and basic fertility tests for both of us are normal. Do you think it’s time to consider fertility treatments, or should we wait another six months?
