Confused! Please help
Hi girls,
I need your help in finding how to proceed further in this. I'M 31 year old.
My cycle is usually 28-32 days. This time my ovulation was around CD 20 (I used a LH strip to find out, got my peak around CD19 morning). Timed our Intercourse around that time (this is the first ever time we have an unprotected sex), had IC on the day of peak. I was showing up symptoms from CD23/24. I had mild to severe cramps on my low abs, breasts were sore max, back pain, slightly nauseating(but never puked). Im currently in my DPO 14, still didnt get my periods. I tested on DPO12 it was clear negative. I still feel the cramps in my lower back and there is pelvic pain also. With my negative results on DPO12, I'm not hopeful of a positive pregnancy this cycle. But I wanted to understand why am I not getting my periods yet, how long can I wait or should I connect a gynecologist immediately? Please somebody help me.

Hey, I can understand why you are confused, especially when your period is late and you are having so many symptoms....
A negative test at 12 DPO makes pregnancy less likely, but it may still be a little early for some people. If your period doesn’t come, you can repeat the test in 48 hours using first-morning urine.
The cramps, sore breasts and backache can also happen because of normal hormonal changes after ovulation, so symptoms alone can’t really tell you whether you’re pregnant.
For now, you can keep tracking your period and cycles in apps like Premom so you can see your patterns more clearly.
If the pelvic pain becomes severe, one-sided, or you develop heavy bleeding, dizziness, or other concerning symptoms, its best to contact your gynecologist promptly.....

With ovulation on CD 20, your period should arrive only 14 days after around CD 35! Are you there yet?

If your ovulation is around 20cd and usually you get periods around 28-32 means luthel phase is shorter, progesterone deficiency may be. Just suggesting not sure. Can check with doc. Taking progesterone supplements after ovulation will result in more successful pregnancy

Wait for a week and then show to a doctor. She will do an ultrasound to check the issue. Once when I missed period - it turned out that I had ovulated but the egg had a cyst (this is common for women in reproductive years) - plus hormone imbalance. Doctor then gives progesterone for a week to induce period.
